just felt like sharing few things amongst the https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif people in this thread. Sorry if it bothers you and seems out of place, would not ping henceforth. (i couldn’t resist pushing notifs to book-lovers whose recent comments are here and few other people who are in the reading habit)

https://cdn0.desidime.com/Placeholders/No-Image-Available.png

as I have previously told to some.. I have been associated with some work at an educational institute at Sandalpur village in Madhya Pradesh (Khategaon Tehsil).

Well THAT is a story on to its own (the 7 year itch prompted a (now 40 years old) well settled SAP mid-management employee of 13 years to leave SAP around 2010/2011 and start a college in his native village)

.
anyway,

for me it was good fortune to recently come across an inspiring person here who also was the guiding light and inspiration to the college project.

This gentleman/sir has himself been through a lot and now devotes time on taking some sessions each semester at places like IIM Udaipur, IIM Ahmedabad and others but mostly stationed at IIMB Bengaluru.

Leadership through Spirituality and few modules he himself developed.

During few of the recent interactions, the topic of past life regression and what why where of the Atma, Rooh, Soul got under discussion. (i had asked certain things on PLR)

.
.
So apart from the talks, sir had (to me) also told that he’d be sending over few books after he returns to Bengaluru.

and today morning I got these https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Scientist’s search for truth and Rebirth are on my priority presently as those things relate more to what we have had talks over.

I’ll start over with Rebirth. (also because it is shorter with self contained chapters, all under 200 pages in totality).

the higher connect and revelation for each person is different, still by around this time next month I hope to be at the Sringeri matt, Chickmagalur. (there are some programs and initiation events of sorts, which I showed interest to witness. and have been invited to come experience what it would be like)

"@Crook":https://www.desidime.com/users/...27 I have always like the way u connect past references in ur every new posts, break them into pieces and distributes them to random users that makes it useful for someone and useless for rest of them for abstractions reasons may be and then again the same process is repeated. U can't imagine how big fan I m of ur writings. Anyway, I would have had suggested u to follow the same order which was given to read them but due to lack of time or patience u have juz started with the smaller one. Pls share some good parts of it with us in ur free time.....It seems u keep moving on all the time, wishes for ur new place, I hope u can now relax there and put up ur feet up finishing all ur gifted books. Like always, Karma line msg will be dropped.

"@Crook":https://www.desidime.com/users/...27 Thanks for the tag. During school years I got addicted to Sidney Sheldon and the likes( yes those were forbidden and that's what ignited my teenage curiosity). Then came the era of Classics in my life like LOTR and 'Gone with the wind' etc. But, then realisation of importance of time made me switch to non-fiction and now I just read 'reports' and whatever is relevant to my job/day to life. Time or lack of the same has made me drift apart from my reading habits. I seldom read spiritual books. My spiritual frame(of mind) had been sized and fixed quite early due to early exposure to J.Krishnamurti's teachings.

what 'kind' of reading bhai. i mean light reading versus serious and in those too; there might be various genres or areas of interest. . . if you 'have the time' or want to know its history; make a thread about 9780553175219 . of-course, junta here mostly can only understand Chetan Bhagat and so those kind of books become FPD. but you never know, may be this changes your jinx of not getting an FPD, post it if you like. . I know, this borders the realm of spoon feeding which i myself do not hold too high, but would be grateful if any of you have delved into Infinitheism (infinitheism.com) and/or read any of the literature, books of TTR (or Mahatria Ra, as he is referred to) Just few hours back, in the evening I came across this; it was shown to me by someone on his phone and I uploaded it, sorry for not putting the direct source, as I am unable to find it. (searched youT with all combinations: T T Rangarajan, introspection, Infinitheism) "@Jairaj":https://www.desidime.com/users/...59 "@Magus":https://www.desidime.com/users/...03 "@Ramendra":https://www.desidime.com/users/...14 "@Nibras":https://www.desidime.com/users...34 "@Barood":https://www.desidime.com/user...86 ?? anyone bhai ¿ [needless to say, my uploading a recording off someone's phone was not my first choice. Should it not be al-right, I'd remove this small motivational discourse. He comes across as a good orator with skills to hold the audience.]

as for content.
well there are only those 15-20 basics that are essence of nature or life.. karte raho re-package. New and Improved https://cdn0.desidime.com/Placeholders/No-Image-Available.png

acha speaking of ‘new and improved’ can any of the English laureates (or our in-house Wren and Martin @Magus @DealSeeker @Mr Invisible ) clear up this dichotomy for me please.

Is it something wrong with me or is it stupid to claim something as ‘new’; as well as ‘improved’ ??

if something is new: it never existed before; right naa ?
and one can only improve that which has existed: so how can it be claimed ‘new’ https://cdn0.desidime.com/attachments/photos/298177/medium/3191096icon_confused.gif?1480981768 ?

Never really researched about english so never stumbled upon it, I came to know about Stack Exchange while installing different Linux distros, not that I know much about them but just to try something new tried many(except Ubuntu, coz that was too standard) but never found anything better than Windows. ( I am strictly talking keeping in mind the User-Friendliness)

In fact, it should have become broader and more flexible, right? Because that's what JK emphasizes in all his talks. smile But you are right in a very important way. Understanding his message helps us avoid the imposters. That way, we can just save the burden of reading all those half-baked spiritual teachers who don't know shit about what they are talking. lol "@Spock":https://www.desidime.com/users/...88 Mahatria Ra! thank you again "Jai":https://www.desidime.com/users/...59 ,"DS":https://www.desidime.com/users/...42 , "Magus":https://www.desidime.com/users/...03 for responding with whatever your take was on respective things. would go back to drawing my larger plans of becoming a baba (with firang bhakhts nee donors) as the Simhastha thing approaches. Magus, not that i mind you being a government guest, still why don't you consider taking an anticipatory bail . lol 'religious' sentiments are more fragile than admin sentiments. [while you we may have had experience of breaking and/or mending the latter .. the former.. ahh would be as fragile as ever.] and thank you "@DealSeeker":https://www.desidime.com/users/...42 for all the other inputs too, today. just logged in and too tired to individually bump reply on those places, so a mini combined reply here. thanks for that nutrion enriched post. Yup I knew Lipton did some fire-fighting. Knew that arthropods are favoured in some parts, wasn't so specifically aware of the candy/ energy bar thing though. I mean, 'cricket' finds sub-zero interest in me. [be it the stupid religion of India or the ones from fauna. or only up to the extent Nigel Marven or David Attenborough types evoke while watching those documentaries/shows. ].
