not much into "motivational" talks, speeches or books anymore, but some elderly person expectantly gave that Swett Marden one.
so yes, went through the 'Paths to Progress' Unnati ki Rahe and the other one he would later query me about! That.. did i also read 'Safalta ka Rahasya' (Cigarette of suckcess).

and in the same way, the Osho one (Krishn) too was passingly brushed through.
actually i am more into checking out some of the older 'reference' books, encyclopedias and similar.
I do not know if Manorama Year book type stuff still sells as much. (finding information on-line takes less time than farting does).
But this 2017 one i had actually opened, no idea how it is sealed!
50-60% adverts in it
Maybe next "book" would be The turbulent years, haven't opened the hardbound since purchase (a couple of years back), but had read through few of the chapters on the e-book reader.
Word Guides or thesauruses or vocabulary relsted books are something i often like to refer to still. Even multi lingual dictionaries (translation).

This ☞☛ https://documentcloud.org/documents/6956021-Sherlock.html ☚☜ lawsuit too is history now!
In so far as Divided States of Murica was concerned, now everything in the Sherlock Holmes series is in the public domain. (Everything is out of copyright protection laws).

Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle's famous creation is now completely in public domain.. free to be interpreted, used, abused as one deems fit.

@Suspennded Do read some human psychology books. Not every human being reacts the same way to harsh treatment. The “being critical and snob” treatment might have worked for you, but it surely shouldn’t assumed to be the norm.
Don’t know if you have your own kids yet, but this is why the “reward” model is being adopted as the standard practice rather than the “punishment” model. See https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/family-aff... CC @Socrates
