Mobilism is the best site for ebooks of retail quality, but not all the books can be found there.
If book is not on mobilism then i use torrents and various file search engines

For free books i go to mobileread, feedbooks and project gutenberg

Books written before 50 years (70 years in some countries) are free. Google will direct you to number of sites. Usually there are errors in free books; Users at mobileread, feedbooks and gutenberg will have better sources with less errors.
