Why is My Post Under Moderation?

I've noticed that my posts and comments often show the message:
"This post is still under moderation. Your patience is greatly appreciated."ย
Is this happening to everyone, or is there something specific I need to address?
There is no help section.

And i fail to see.. what is frustrating about it for someone who has been here less than 24 hours.
It is a standard operating procedure here now, ever since the time when many freecharge users spammed the whole site. (Similar to the way Google pay users are currently spamming. you too are most anxious about the laddu thing.)
All your 15 posts till now, DID get manually approved in a reasonable time.. and certainly in less than 24 hours.
So this, I feel, is not really that frustrating.. given that these are also festive times (sometimes the required people are on leave and there is a shortage of enough working hands).
A user's post can be put under manual approval (moderation).. even if they have been here since long
(but the administrators, moderators find the user posting problematic content).
In such cases, the site does not distinguish on the basis of the age of the account. It could be a one day old account.. or it could be a decade old account.
Although in your case, obviously it is because you are yet to cross a threshold of having enough posts (for the administrators to know that you are a legitimate user and not a bot or a business).
Usually if administrators find that a user is relatively safe in posting and is not a spam account, then such account gets whitelisted.
Thereafter the posts are 'auto verified' by the system.
(The system may still check for and bar certain terms from getting posted.)
I too nod my head when you say that it would have been better to have a consolidated 'help section'.. streamlined at one place.
Nonetheless, everyone here is just a tag away, in so far as getting one's doubts cleared.. is concerned.
Still, I tumbled upon a few links and some of those.. I share for your reference here. @admin @dom2921 kindly shift this to queries about DesiDime, suggestions, bug tracker and feedbacks, where it should have been.. to begin with.. or at-least prior to the administrators, moderators approving (verifying) it.
