Adding Heat (Voting)
On every deal, coupon or topic on DesiDime you will find hotness number with vote button on its either sides. Your opinion helps the community to understand the deal quality better, so make sure you vote! In order to vote, simply use the minus (not so good) and plus (good deal) button and your vote will be registered.

Commenting
The community appreciates great interaction with fellow dimers in order to make new friends or learn more about the deal. Click on ‘Reply’ button to start commenting!

The type of things you may wish to comment are:

• Your experience of the product in the deal
• Thank the deal poster for the efforts
• Ask/Reply any queries about the product
• Mention the cheaper price if found elsewhere
• Anything & everything you wish to talk related to the deal

Apart from Hot Deals there are other forums you may wish to comment are Dost and Dimes and Freebies & Contests

Scroll down on the deal page description and click on the white space to post your comment. Once you finish writing and are satisfied with your comment simply press the ‘Reply’ button.

If you are a new user; you will get this message for your first 10 activity (including deal posting/comments) and will go live once approved:

‘Your post is awaiting moderation and will be visible to the general public, as soon as its approved. Your patience is appreciated in this matter’

Member Tagging
You can tag any user by adding the @ symbol prior to the username; to address any user in the forum. Of course, you don’t need to tag members all the time, but it is a nice gesture to acknowledge or appreciate in case you have a query or want to thank them for the deal.

Posting Images in Comments
Feel free to upload any used product images for review or you may also take photos when shopping out and about and add them to the thread.

To post a video just add the url of the video and voila!

For images & GIF add: <img src=“image url goes here”>

Alert Admin: Notify for a repost or anything for a particular deal and just mention your reason briefly for us to understand your suggestion/query.
Expired deal? Alert Admin: If you know the deal is no longer available you can help us track it
Follow Topic: You can follow a deal and get instant notification of any new activity like comments
Mute topic: If you are not interested in any discussion or deals or don’t want to see any update regarding the same, then use this feature.

Deal Wiki
This is the additional insight from a dimer on the others deal which can include more details about the posted offer or even relevant suggestions. Only certain experienced dimers have access to this feature as of now. You can find the deal wiki just below the deal description.

Store Review
Yes you can indeed review a store and provide your ratings and comments over a particular store from your purchase or booking experience.

Step 1: From the menu bar – click on any store you wish to review OR click HERE to find all stores
Step 2: On the left side just below the store name click on reviews
Step 3: Will navigate to store reviews submitted by other dimers – On left click “Write review”
Step 4: Write a brief title of your experience – Give your ratings – Write a elaborate description and click “Submit”

Inbox
To send a Private Message (PM) go to their Profile page – Click ‘START CHAT’ button – Opens chat window

OR Click on the chat icon on the top right corner of the page – search with username on the search bar on the left – Click on the respective username to start chatting.

You can find the username of the deal poster on every deal so just click on it to go to their profile.
Note: Sharing contact details in topics is not allowed, however you can do it via PM.

Leaderboard
It shows you a list of the most active and most enthusiastic contributors of DesiDime on the basis of their positive feedback received (votes on their deals & likes on comments), positive feedback given (voted or liked other dimers content) , the number of fans they have in the community and the current dimes earnings. Go to the main Leaderboard PAGE

Notification
Check all your associated activity happening on your topic including comments, likes and if a fellow dimer has tagged you here. On the site header; find your username on the top right, the next bell icon is the notification button. Simply click to reveal a dropdown of all your notification and click view all to check all at once.

Karma, Ranks and Badges
Karma is a reward you receive for your contribution to the community. It is a measurement of your expert input to solve queries and depending on how beneficial it has been to fellow dimers; they would bestow you with karma.
Deal Newbie, Deal Lieutenant, Deal Captain and other such terms are a representation of your activity level on DesiDime. You are given these titles, as a gesture to value the loyalty of our Dimers. This is not just limited to posting deals, but it also depends on your overall contribution to the entire community. Currently, we have 11 Ranks to reach out for.
All new users join us as “Deal Newbie” and the ranking goes up gradually based on how active you are in DesiDime forums. The ranking is determined by your Karma, a reputation system developed by us.

You can view all the Ranks on your Profile page
We have 55 Activity Badges and 24 VIP Badges for our Dimers, who distinguish themselves by their uniquely valuable participation. You can view all these Badges, on your Profile page just above the list of Ranks.

To check your Activity Badges: Go to your profile; hover over each Badge to see the various degrees of contributions you need to make to the community, to earn them.
On the other hand, for VIP Badges, the team of admins and moderators select suitable achievers after thorough observation, analysis and discussions; although you will know what each badge represents based on its name. The VIP Badges are given from time to time. So, we recommend you keep up the great job that you are doing, and it won’t go unnoticed.

Fans
Like any particular dimer’s deals or their posts? Show the appreciation by becoming their fan!
Go to their deal and hit plus button or head to their profile page and click ‘Become a Fan’ button.

*Click on your username on the top right to see an overview of your profile – Dime earnings, Karma Log, Badges, Ranks, Groups subscribed, Muted Topics, Fans, Deals, Topics, Store Reviews & Coupons Posted and Gold dimes earned.

Games
Find games on the menu bar to play and win dimes or exciting gifts.
Housie: This is like any classic housie game conducted every Wednesday at 4PM. To know more about prizes click HERE
Malamaal Weekly: Played every Friday at 12PM; you can win jackpot on a slot machine HERE

Q.1) As an op is it requires to self-check / confirm to cc the deal details which was taken from the unofficial/official source ?

According to post laws my thread will considered deal with incomplete information.
in that case it will be right that someone post with their confirmation proof and re-post it .
Will that be cosidered as repost ?

How can i remove my IPL badge ?

Badly Missing ALL Tab.
Along with NEW, HOT, Discussed Tabs.
There should be one more Tab like ALL
comprising of all above Tabs under one Tab.
So that its possible to check every thread like a story book,,
without missing any single deal.
