As per Trai guidelines from feb1 all channels pricing list gonna implement new pricing based on individual channel rates !
Many of us don’t know about it, and some don’t know how to select channels like me !
Also Trai said there wont be any further extension in rule implementation.

My suggestion would pick channels as a package(from a network/group like star, sun etc) to reduce price instead of selecting single channel from a channel owner.
Also heard we can change free channels which comes prebundled in base price of 153.

Log in to your Videocon account in desktop. Under one tab you can see the create/select your own pack option. There by applying required filters you can find different channels and bouquets. Give time gap for each clicks on the channels/packs as the website is working slowly. You can also find the channel/pack details by pressing the info button provided in right top corner of each packs. This info page will take time to load. On the right side of the selection page there is dashboard. Access the FTA pack through it. Apart from mandatory DD channels choose FTA channels as per your wish. First of all choose required paid packs and then choose FTA channels. Unlike other operators Videocon charges NCF as RS 1 per channel for upto 15 additional channels and RS 23 for 16-25 channels. Plan accordingly.

If you are using TataSky, Download their app, Click on banner on home page and select Individual channels… The best way to save money is to not use Tata sky recommended packages but use A la Carte Channel selection or Bouqet selection option.

One can use Bouquets instead of buying each channel at MRP. Obviously Bouqets are simple to get all related channels together. Disney Universal bouqet will only cost you Rs. 10. Check below link for each bouquet.

I get SMS every day from dish tv to select the pack according to TRAI Norms.
I didn’t select till the date. I will not select until they force me to close my connection. As selecting the new package means paying around 550-600 for the 300 rs package.
Yes same here my nearly 300 RS plan now showing 370-380
Man this hardly changed anything.
My monthly TataSky was 725.
Now the suggested pack by TS costs me 765.
I selected broadcaster pack and it costs me 720 or something.
Tata sky is smart. My pack costs 525 something but TS charges me 225 something evening out to the same price as before hardly anything changed besides the headache of so many pack variations to choose from.
And the page they have kept for pack selection is very complex as well. You need an OTP to log into it and after the pack selection, if you clicked anywhere other than the submit button it goes back to the first page. (It took me some 3-4 iterations before finalizing one subscription). Don’t you think it is deliberately made that way?

You will have to browse through the channel list and various packages to check what works for you and what is cheaper for you, bouquet pack or individual channel.
If you only watch 5-10 channels then it’s better to subscribe individual channels. If all/majority of your channels come under a pack then a pack will be cheaper for you.
Just play with different combinations.
I used to pay 513 rs per month on Tatasky and now when we made a list of channels we usually watch and I subscribed all those channels then our prices came down to 320 rs pm.

Yes infact this new regulations are reducing charges for people who use packages above 500 or so. But it is a loss for other users who confine with the basic packages.
For example Airtel dth has 99 base pack plus 60 regional pack amounting to ~150 per month.
Under this new regulations the same package is going up to 260 per month, which is 60% increase
How it came to 130+ 
Its not good for me, Now prices are high previous basic pack of 100rs including gst now the cost is raised 153rs same pack same free channels
The government & trai doing started gaining money from normal people
Even its entertainment also they will cost more and more in future

submitted some 5-6 channels which is necessary. it costs 252/- in TS
Did recharge for 6 months Telugu value pack of Sundirct @ 1014rs. In addition, for 30rs I get Telugu HD pack. So for me I don’t need to worry for 6 months.
I Had 350 with taxes for all channels on Hathway via local cable. Am sure the price will be higher with new rules.But I may remove the unwanted channels which I rarely or never watch from my list to keep it in my budget.
HD? if not then you might get a better deal if you are ready to remove some channels
In dish tv select Dish Combo packs NFC has been removed for these packs, your monthly charges will be lesser than the current packs

Useless rules. Bill is going high. Dth bundling was better. Now we need to select each and every broadcaster bundles. Individual channels Cost is too high.
In dish tv, i have recharge till 22th May. What if i don’t select any pack from 1st February? What will they do?
Those who were paying more are paying less & those who were paying less are supposed to pay more.
By removing the main channel’s which costs Above 21rs. I made a plan for the same amount which i was paying earlier. 
This is loot for all channels. TRAI looted common people.
think about channel revenue.. 
even 2 rs channel will earn equally like higher trp channels !
They are now real king of this rule.. they will earn double profit by means of individual channel price + ad revenue..
Obviously there are chances of losing trp due to pricing system, so they will come down to Free to air channels to tackle this competition.. but market leaders always fix at higher rates !
I really can’t fathom people blaming TRAI here as the villain. It is your DTH operators and the channel providers who are trying to blackmail you into buying bouquet’s by valuing their individual channels price higher. Stay within the 100 channel limit and choose what you only want to see and then see the results. I am a Videocond2h customer as well and my current plan is about 300rs. With me trimming the fat I am only paying 250~ . Come on guys, let’s try to be rational about it for a moment rather than going overboard. Google TRAI channel selection portal, select the channels you want to see, don’t tell me you watch 400+ channels a month. Only older generation watch channels which too wouldn’t be more than 50 channels at Max. This is the trick of marking 1ltr soda at 100 and the offering 2ltr at 130. You would obviously go for the 2ltr as it seems value for money. For now select only.channels you absolutely want then see the network and channel providers reducing their price.
Earlier dth operators were making bundles. Now broadcasters are making it. What is the difference between then and now. Individual channel prices are too high even now. Since there are many broadcasters, the prices are going high. I think you are the one who benefitted since you are paying very high earlier.

Many cable operators even dont know about trai rules.. They will think like we are fools 
better dont recharge your dth .. if you have smart t and wifi interent then enouht you can download airtel t or jio tv and watch
Broadcaster are also smar they are charging Max 19₹ for most watched channels like star plus zee tv colors etc and if you choose all main channels still you have to pay 400₹+. But if you buy whole channel pack they will include are other language channels also. So you are stuck in both the situation. Well done TRAI
UPDATE : COURT HAS GIVEN STAY FOR NEW TRAI RULES TILL 18TH FEB FOR TRAI REPLY REGARDING THIS MATTER DUE TO CABLE OPERATORS OPPOSITION !
