As per Trai guidelines from feb1 all channels pricing list gonna implement new pricing based on individual channel rates !
Many of us don’t know about it, and some don’t know how to select channels like me !
Also Trai said there wont be any further extension in rule implementation.

But don’t know how to select this in our dth.share if anyone knows about it..
My suggestion would pick channels as a package(from a network/group like star, sun etc) to reduce price instead of selecting single channel from a channel owner.
Also heard we can change free channels which comes prebundled in base price of 153.

Log in to your Videocon account in desktop. Under one tab you can see the create/select your own pack option. There by applying required filters you can find different channels and bouquets. Give time gap for each clicks on the channels/packs as the website is working slowly. You can also find the channel/pack details by pressing the info button provided in right top corner of each packs. This info page will take time to load. On the right side of the selection page there is dashboard. Access the FTA pack through it. Apart from mandatory DD channels choose FTA channels as per your wish. First of all choose required paid packs and then choose FTA channels. Unlike other operators Videocon charges NCF as RS 1 per channel for upto 15 additional channels and RS 23 for 16-25 channels. Plan accordingly.

If you are using TataSky, Download their app, Click on banner on home page and select Individual channels… The best way to save money is to not use Tata sky recommended packages but use A la Carte Channel selection or Bouqet selection option.

One can use Bouquets instead of buying each channel at MRP. Obviously Bouqets are simple to get all related channels together. Disney Universal bouqet will only cost you Rs. 10. Check below link for each bouquet.

I used that 6 months back and some HD & SD channel topups.

HEREAFTER NO ONE WILL CREATE DTH TRAI TOPIC.. THIS WAS THE RESULT OF THIS TOPIC. 
If I am now wrong the whole Concept of Dost & Dimes is to help People & to make New Dost/Friends but now the reality is totally Opposed people are Fighting in every other thread like hell.
Not made any selection yet.. but i think they have pre selected a plan for me and deduction is going on daily basis with additional 5 rs.. (i.e 150 rs increase per month than my earlier pack).. In between all channel stopped working saying insufficient balance for 3 hrs.. later came back ! no other update as of now !
Hathway Mumbai has increased the packages cost

Not accepting my RTN during login. Forget password is not helping. They sending new password to my number but rejecting my login Id and same number. They have removed my New Diamond pack and activated something called MAP. And FOOD FOOD channel is not there. My mom is screaming at me ki it’s only 1₹ why am I not subscribing it. Customer care is disconnecting calls

UPDATED NEWS: THOSE WHO HAVE NOT OPTED CHANNELS FOR NEW TARIFF CAN VIEW CONTENT AT PREVIOUS OLD RATE UPTO 31ST MARCH. (Good news)
For those who have already selected channels and opted for new pricing scheme will continue as new tariff (a bad thing for those who are in new tariff 
)
Additionally trai is working on new plans package based on their region/language effective from 31st march (having more affordable than prevailing new tariff)

What’s a mess all this has become now! So the users who have selected channels before 31st Jan are at loss.. Paying more for abiding rules.

Seems this issue is still mess, TRAI again failed to do right thing in right manner.
hathway mumbai giving mostly all channels in only 350/- western suburbs side of mumbai might be jio effect 
Indigital stubborn giving limited pack wise channels high price
I have benefitted a lot from this new TRAI Rule on TS. Earlier I used to pay ₹430 to get what I want. Even one sports channel used to cost ₹60 each so had to subscribe to bundle packs. Now my price has came down to ₹240.
