Dosto,
I've seen a lot of people ask about the charges, daily limits, monthly limits, etc. as far as transferring funds in the different wallets to a bank account is concerned. So I thought to create a list with help from you amazing hunters/dimers. The list will be based on comments here & will be updated from time to time.
Let's share our knowledge.
Here is the Google spreadsheet which contains user-contributed wallet limits and charges: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vxTJ7tm... This spreadsheet will be maintained by "@gurucoupon":https://www.desidime.com/users...87 and "@DealSeeker":https://www.desidime.com/users/...42. Please tag either of these users when you want to contribute an update to the spreadsheet data.
Good job. KG.
Just a small suggestion. I think the document will have better readability if you interchange the position of wallet names and their particular heads.

The scope of this “project” has moved beyond the original requirements. What started out as Limits and charges for wallets has now moved into usage of gift cards on various sites. Luckily Axis cards are universally accepted unlike Amex gift cards which work only on a couple of sites.
This issue(where do these cards work) has been hashed and rehashed innumerable times, and still this issue keeps cropping up every time there is gift card deal posted and some new dimers, not necessarily new to desidime, purchase the these cards. The most common questions being raised are 1. Where can we use these cards/do these cards work on this site, 2. Can we pay CC bills using these cards and 3. can we deposit this card amount in bank accounts 4. Can we reload these cards. Unless we make a sticky for prepaid cards listing out these details, matters will continue to spiral into realms of redundancy, and even despite the sticky, these questions are not going away.
hehe… Let them create a new document for this as well… Various prepaid cards and their uses/limits.

No changes in the scope is required for the reasons I have already outlined.
As for the rest of your points, I totally agree. When dimers fail to read already posted answers on the same page before posting a question in a thread, I don’t expect any changes even when a thread about prepaid cards is made sticky.
When I have the time, I patiently guide users to existing posts (privately as well as publicly). But some dimers take a lot of time to understand the things. I can’t even remember how many times I have written “Axis prepaid card works like a regular debit card without the ability to withdraw from the ATMs”, but people still ask what sites/wallet this card will work for. I mean you can’t say it simpler than that. Man, it’s tough!

Bro, even I was introduced to the hidden advantages in buying these prepaid cards on DD. But I was a quick learner. All I needed was one post/PM from @rajdesidime or @ankurjpr if I remember correctly.
With that said, I do understand and empathize with the fact that people here are not even aware of the difference between a credit card and a debit card, or Visa, MC, and Amex. So these people will obviously find it tough to understand the benefits of a prepaid card. And this is why I still help such users even when it takes 10 PMs/posts.

Thats why a sticky/FAQ is needed. Instead of directing dimers to different posts for different prepaid cards, we can direct them to a single post which would contain generic info about prepaid cards/CC/DC then drill down to info about specific cards.

Such threads/posts are never successful. Speaking from my own experience. (1) T&Cs change frequently, (2) Users don’t contribute, (3) DD doesn’t allow edits after 24 hours.

What about point # 2? Without any real user contribution, one or two people can’t maintain the ever-changing details of all the wallets. Heck, apart from Paytm, I use only two other wallets and even those are rarely used. I mean, just look at the spreadsheet for this thread. So many wallets still have empty columns! An overwhelming majority of users on DD don’t want to contribute, they just want to leech!

Spot on!
Also, god forbid, if they don’t get a favorable answer, they start alleging senior-junior partiality and how unhelpful DD has become.
@DealSeeker Shmart allows a max. transfer of 2500 per day
Guys
Need info on HDFC Payzapp:
written in FAQs that only HDFC cards can only be linked. so only hdfc cards can be used to load cash?
What abt the send bank acct options?
By these restrictions seems it can only be used by hdfc card holders?
Important update regarding payumoney wallet
Please ignore if already known. I added this since it is not found in the document.

You can use the HDFC PayZapp wallet only if you have an account with HDFC. As for the rest, I haven’t used it yet so I can’t comment.

That’s right. But what about the suggestion I made here: http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t...
You haven’t even responded to that after 18 hours! Is it because I did not contribute anything “substantially” to the development of this project? Is not a suggestion regarding presentation atleast remotely important to a public document?
Well, not to speak of the many PMs and pings (from me) you have chosen to ignore, just like that. Is it because of the disagreement over the “karma” stuff? LOL. Never expected this from you, out of all dimers around. Any community thrives as equally on healthy interactions as it does on substantial contributions.
@Magus wrote:

No. It was because of the breach of trust about the other matter. If you read my last PM carefully, I expressed my reasons briefly but clearly. In return, instead of acknowledging the mistake, you tried to justify why it was okay. Do read it again. EOD.

You mean that single statement (only statement in your last PM)!
I don’t understand how it explains anything “clearly”. You expressed your disapproval over something. I explained how it was different from what you actually told me not to disclose (I hadn’t disclosed the actual trick in the first place but that’s a different story). How do you say you have made things clear?
@DealSeeker wrote:

Well, I don’t need an urban dictionary to know what EOD means.
So be it!

Hey @Magus ,
Previously I also thought the same thing what you said , But when @DealSeeker created the document and shared the sheet, i thought before suggesting.
And i think the current implementation is right. Because at a time you wants to see for given scenario what’s the status of other wallets.I meant lets say transfer to bank, to increase my credit card points i just wants to see what are the charges for transfer to bank for individual wallets and that way it make sense.
Anyway we always have 2 sides of coins. So always we can argue each other and we can prove each other that we are right.
Dost, note that I am not saying your point is wrong. But in this scenario its not giving more benefit compare to the current implementation.
Thanks for KG

This is not about who is right / wrong. Please don’t mistake me. I just found moving left-right a bit clumsier than moving up-down. The wallet names being shorter than the particular heads, we could avoid moving far right if their positions are just interchanged. Still, it’s not a big issue.
