I got it today morning

I’m from Bangalore. Mine was scheduled for delivery on 27th but I got it today. Took 2 minutes to do the surgery.

How to Remove HDD from it? Is it simple or I have to do with Hammer?

yeah , I know.. but 900 is much better price especially if you want HDD.
I requested few Dimers who were about to cancel it and even I shared my address too to one dimer but none of them helped me .
Anyways, next time I will definitely try to buy 1 if comes again during diwali sale..

If it’s on sale next time, it will be gone in a blink of an eye.

HD support for laptop?

Completely Missed! Wish could get hold of one in Hyderabad.
We can use this as HDD for laptop? My old laptop’s HDD Failed.

Best in Class for External Portable USB, if you manage to get it for Rs.126/- ever… even is good enough within 1000/-

It is supported in Acer aspire es1 laptop?

Short Review:
Initial firmware version was 1.5.1 something, after update firmware using wifi version is 2.5.5……
Can connect with phone via Wi-Fi( both phone and station shud be connected to same network, no internet wifi required, just a local wifi is enough) using http address mentioned on screen( only images from phone can be uploaded), or directly using canon cs100 app available on playstore( both images and videos from phone can be uploaded)- transfer speed is pathetic only max 3Mbps….and video shot on phone is not directly uploaded, the app first converts the video into format which is supported by cs100 then it will start getting uploaded( slow process)…
So overall i feel its not good to transfer images and files from mobile or laptop….dont know about canon cameras….
Its good to pullout the harddisk and use it in someother way as u wish…
Tried to dissemble but i dont hav star shaped screw driver required to open this, screws loacted quite deeper..

I have H96 Pro+ android TV box….i will try to connect with this box using some cheap usb hdd enclosures…any cheap suggestion..??
