I never did any trading but i always heard from some dimer friends that “guy looted me”… bla bla..

IMO, its right move to enjoy deals which gives you peace of mind.

Now a days, so many people does trading of wallet then they inform customer care saying my wallet is hacked. So they gets refund. & you get headache if you’ve not used money completely ( Meant if you’ve purchased product, then product delivery also). example OLA money.

Also people sale tricks about moded app and definately some newbie gets attracted because they find some bucks. But they don’t know how to hide their A**. So they get tracked and loose more compare to the master mind guys.

Also now Companies are getting more strict about frauds. Latest example is MMT.

Again its obviously depends on intension/personality of dimer why he is here. Decision is obviously dimers. But its not good for a FORUM perspective because once they get a TAG “Tricks and moded apps forum”. They loose the revenue from affiliate marketing also which runs employee salaries, website cost and others …

For someone who is a mobile sim seller he would be selling otp and stuff for 10 to 20 bucks depending on the app . For a school /college student trading had become a way of earning extra bucks and also later excessive spending given his age . Ola / uber rides using rooted phones , peppertap referrals, selling paytm bourbon codes, everything in life was done with an intention to resell. Even if these traders dint want to purchase a deal for themselves they would be the first to loot it and leave nothing for the genuine users.
The reason they later wanted to make a killing out of it . Remeber resellers of amazon irctc loot, or more specifically nexus 7 2012 or Micromax Android One devices.

Its for good once and all a decision has been taken . It might impact your user base in the short term but as an organization and especially Indias largest shopping forum this decision had to be taken and genuine dimers wont really feel the heat.

Just an example I had messaged 4 or 5 credible dimers yesterday if they had any mmt refferal link cause i needed to do hotel booking . To my surprise none of them owned one.

This shows that not all are really looters but only a fraction of the community which will bear the brunt and rightly so .

i think this sudden change in rules justifies for the troubles DD is into…. but trading of coupons/invites/exchanging wallet balances should be exempted as its the sole part of trading section in DD…. barter system is long gone so no need to start the 18th century again….
and no one is going to trade their old stuffs in here bcoz DD is not meant for that….

these rules are surely going to setback the number of users DD has currently… what i have seen is new ppl only join DD bcoz of these trading and trick sharing platform provided….

All good points. But please do allow trading of coupons for wallet money. That’s a valid and legal use-case for dimers like me who can not be online here 24×7. Being the forerunners in the Indian deals community, I am sure you have noticed the decreasing amount of time that coupon deals are live for — mostly due to hoarding by looters/traders; now they will just move to Whatsapp or other mediums.

Trading of wallets should never be allowed but Kindly do allow trading of coupons/gift vouchers, gift vouchers atleast
It is easy to identify if any gift voucer is obtained in an unethical manner, most probably these gift vouchers will be of minimal amount 100 or 150 like amazon and obviously traders will be selling them in multiple numbers
There are genuine users who wanna trade their gift vouchers amounting to some thousands which are re-instated from returning a product [Like flipkart]
Chances are very less that someone can obtain a single gift voucher amounting to 2000 or 3000 unethically

How do we ascertain the means by which the seller might have got the coupon? For example, what will you say about selling of those coupons which we get by installing an app? But at least they can allow trades between dimers like karma above 3000 etc.. Less chances of days or illegal acquired coupons. Or may be some other way to get the genuine dimer for trade.. it will definitely a problem for persons who missed great deals because of few dimers selfish-ness..

Sorry. I’m never comfortable with this Karma Cola. There are many instances where a gullible newbie has been cheated by a karma giant. In fact, many of the captains now got to that rank by sharing illegal tricks or begging for one all over the forum.
But we can definitely think of ways to design a completely ethical and safe trading forum. Hope the admins will discuss this with mods and other credible users to make it happen.
