Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see the Samsung S24 price in India since its predecessor, S23 Ultra was launched at Rs.1,49,999 and the S24 Ultra will be priced even higher.

The brand has been consistently mentioning the upcoming smartphone as “beyond gaming” and a look at its specs gives us multiple reasons why. The Asus Rog 8 specs have been leaked ahead of its launch on Twitter. As per it, the new upcoming smartphone will feature the latest flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 2500 nits peak brightness, FHD+ Samsung flexible AMOLED display, 3.5mm jack, wi-fi 6, IP68 rating, massive up to 24GB RAM, 1TB Storage, and “an improved camera.” The brand is even running a blind photo test for its new Rog Phone 8. OnePlus 12 5G's biggest competitor for now seems to be the iQOO 12 5G which also launched recently on 12th December and comes with the same chipset.

OnePlus 12R is going to be a toned-down version of the OnePlus 12 5G, just like the OnePlus 11R of the OnePlus 11. While the OnePlus 12 is going to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the OnePlus 12R will likely boast a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which has approx 400K lesser Antutu Score as compared to the SD 8 Gen 3. Coming over to the OnePlus 12R display, it is expected to boast a 1.5K OLED Display with a curved design and metallic mid-frame. As per some reports, the OnePlus 12R is also going to have a 32MP telephoto lens which would still be better than the OnePlus 11R. There aren’t many details about this upcoming smartphone launch in India. However, given OnePlus's tradition of launching its R series whether be it in its OnePlus 9R to OnePlus 11R smartphones or the OnePlus Nord Buds, we can expect that the brand would be launching the OnePlus 12R along with the OnePlus 12 in India on the 23rd January.

The upcoming Redmi flagship series Redmi Note 13 is all set to launch in January 2024. I remember during the years 2016 to 2018, Xiaomi was considered the no.1 smartphone brand in India and was known for bringing some really good value-for-money phones. However, that seems to be changing now. Thanks to consumers getting tired of the immense bloatware, ads & overpriced phones. After the defeat of the Redmi Note 12 series, Xiaomi is yet again all set for the Redmi Note 13 series smartphone launch in January 2024.
