The Nothing Phone 2 launch date was on the 11th of July, unlike what we all predicted. Earlier, the Nothing Phone 2 release date was said to be in the month of June but the phone has been launched in India. The Nothing Phone 2 price in India is Rs. 44,999 for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant. The Phone 2 comes with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor for a price of 45K. The Nothing Phone 2 price can be reduced to Rs. 41,999 after applying some bank offers. Here, we will talk about the Nothing Phone 2 specifications and whether you should buy the Nothing Phone 2 or not.

Nothing Phone 2 Launch Date: Nothing Phone 2 Price

The Nothing Phone 1 launch date was on 21 July 2022. Since the last launch, Nothing has created a place for itself in the market and users really appreciated the first Nothing Phone. Though, just like the last year, this new Nothing Phone has been launched at a higher price and the main question that everyone has been asking now is "Should I buy the Nothing Phone 2". Well, the answer is very simple and we will help you with the same. This post is all about the Nothing Phone 2 price in India, its launch, specifications, and whether you should get this latest Nothing Phone or not.

Nothing Phone 2 Price in India

The Nothing Phone 2 price in India is Rs. 44,999 for the base variant that comes with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. This price is a huge jump from the launch price of the Nothing Phone 1 which came for around ₹30,000 in 2022. This price of the Nothing Phone 2 might be the main reason why many Nothing fans might have to skip this latest Nothing phone. The Nothing Phone 2 would come with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen processor and a price tag of Rs. 44,999 seems a bit too high considering the fact that OnePlus offers the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for around ₹50,000. Thus, it raises the question of whether you should buy the Nothing Phone 2 or not.

The price of the Nothing Phone 2's 12 GB + 256 GB model is Rs. 49,999 and the highest variant of the Nothing Phone 2 costs ₹54,999 and comes with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The Nothing Phone 2 price is definitely on the higher side and that can be a deal breaker for many. For a price of around Rs. 39,999, the OnePlus 11R offers the same processor and a curved display too. If you exclude the curved display, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro runs on the same processor for just Rs. 34,000. This might confuse many smartphone users and they would wonder if the Nothing Phone 2 is worth the money or not.

Should I Buy the Nothing Phone 2?

Coming with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, a smooth 120 Hz OLED display, two great 50 MP cameras on the rear, interesting glyph light features, and a clean UI that is full of customizations, the Nothing Phone 2 is 100% a great phone. But the biggest problem is the Nothing Phone 2 price which starts at Rs. 44,999 without any bank offers. For somewhere around the same price, smartphone users can get the iPhone 13, and thus the debate of Nothing Phone 2 VS iPhone 13 starts. So, if you are wondering whether you should buy the Nothing Phone 2 or not, we will give you a straightforward answer.

You should buy the Nothing Phone 2 only when its price is below Rs. 38,000. During sales like the Big Billion Days on Flipkart, there's a high chance that the Nothing Phone 2 price will drop a lot. That would be the perfect time for you to buy the Nothing Phone 2. Also, it's highly likely that the Nothing Phone 2 price in India drops further just like the Nothing Phone 1's price did. If it does, then it would be a great option for users. If not, then there are some better options for you. So to sum it up, you should buy the Nothing Phone 2 only if its price is around Rs. 38,000 or below.

The Nothing Phone 2 would make sense only if it sells for 38K or lower.

Pixel 7 is available in 46k and if you use little it'll cost 44k then why nothing phone 2 ??

Better performance + better battery backup + better display + more service centers + more accessories + better price as of now (might get lesser during sales).
The Nothing Phone 2 is a better overall package compared to the Pixel 7. The Pixel 7 would get an edge in the camera department but that wouldn't justify the price gap and other aspects where the phone lacks. Also, the Nothing Phone 2 might get a price cut and we may see it under 40K in BBD. Then it would be a much better deal than the Pixel 7.
If we were to compare a phone with the Nothing Phone 2, it would be the iPhone 13 that would prove to be a worthy competitor.

Nothing phone 2 does not bring any wow factor, seems like very small improvement over phone 1 in terms of design and feel.
I am very disappointed with phone 1,screen cannot handle 4k hdr, heats up when using 5G hotspot also is not comfortable when held for a long time. Phone 1 was over priced and hyped and company is following the same tactics.
It is better to go for OnePlus/Samsung for such price or in lower segments with Xiaomi/poco.
Xiaomi still packs the best hardware as per the price and personally I am starting to feel MIUI is becoming a solid performer. My MI 11x which I purchased at a much cheaper price than Phone 1 feels much much better.

Phone 2 would have been best if with offer it came down to 35K because it does not even include charger and that 15 watt wireless charging no one will use in 2023 compared to wired speeds.Rest of design features are all gimmick, looses it's effect after a couple of days.
For all the money they don't even offer a 2k display triumph

Moto edge 30 ultra with exch offer is a much better option in my opinion.

Agreed, the Nothing Phone 2 is overpriced and a price of around 35-38K would have been just perfect. Though, I personally do not think that Mi and POCO phones can be trusted too.

Processor is Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 not Gen 2.

It would have been a steal deal if it was Gen 2.

True, then the Phone 2 would have been the best phone of 2023 in most aspects. Just changing the processor would have a drastic impact on the performance, camera quality, and battery backup.

Bought this phone for my sister. What are the accessories I can buy for this?! Like wireless chargers, tpu cases that offer good protection but doesn't mask the lights and other stuff? Using a 33 watt poco charger with it now. Please suggest value for money economical ones

You just bought a phone worth 45K+, so it's best to spend a bit more and get an original charger from Nothing itself. I'm not saying that other brands' chargers might not be good, but if in case something happens to your phone in the future and you take it to a Nothing service center, they will have a good excuse that you didn't use their authorized charger and the entire blame can be shifted on you, not to mention the bill for the repairs, if any. Also, do you really need a wireless charger?

Moreover, you should look for TPU cases offline only. Buying phone cases online may not be the best thing since they are costlier online, and you can't even check their overall fit and quality without touching them in person.

I feel it's only hyped to be something it's not. It's nothing worth 45k. 2 year old flagship SoC at 38k is a good deal I guess but I think the alternatives are better. Poco F5 is a better alternative except that it runs on MIUI. Motorola phones have weird issues and little or no updates. Samsung has too much bloat but the FE lineup is great vfm. Never tried RealMe, oppo, Vivo and OnePlus so can't say.

Also it doesn't come with a charger at that price. Another Apple like bs that this company is copying.

Agreed, the Nothing Phone 2 would be a good option only if we get it for 38K or lower. Though the SD 8 Plus Gen 1 was launched last year, so it's not a 2-year-old chipset.

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro, OnePlus 11R, and some other phones provide better value than the Nothing Phone 2.

Can anyone suggest a good USB c earphone for nothing 2? Should be budget friendly but shouldn't lose on audio quality.
