District App by Zomato is now Live!

District by Zomato, the app which was in talks for a long time is now live on Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store so you can download it and get started.

The District App has 3 sections, Movies, Events, and Dining. Thus, you can book movie tickets, live event tickets, and reserve tables at your favorite restaurants (same as Zomato Dining).

On the offers front, the Dining section has got similar offers to those on Zomato. ‘Movies’ has currently got two Buy 1 Get 1 Free Movie Ticket offers from Axis (upto ₹175 on selected cards) and RBL (upto ₹200 on all cards) Bank Credit Cards. However, ‘Events’ has no coupon offers and payment offers as of now.

District App has got all the movies and events listed on BookMyShow. Also, convenience/booking fee and ticket cancellation/refund terms are the same. Besides, it has got a new feature of ‘share seat map’ so you and your companions can decide on the best suitable seats easily

District by Zomato is currently in its Beta phase so stay tuned for many more ‘Movies and Events’ offers as it will cope-up with its peer BookMyShow. However, its online ticket booking process, user-interface, payment success, and other app experiences are smooth & top-notch. On the downside, District by Zomato doesn't have a website service so you can book only from its app.
