About one month back, Asus X54C-SX261D core i3 2nd Gen. was available for about 23,000/- But all of a sudden price increased to 26,000/+ now!!

Can You give any good Asus offers mostly core i3 2nd Gen ? I am not in a hurry though, just waiting for a better offer.
Even homeshop18 also not coming with any superdeals for laptops these days!

Please do not think Sony laptops are better I have one of them and its bad. Having used ASUS laptops, they are quite good. Alos, they are not chinese but from taiwan. And they make many PC components such as motherboards, Xonar sound cards to name a few

Bro, ASUS laptops, just like other ASUS products are No. 1 in terms of quality and are ahead of Sony VAIO both in quality and sales.

Its recommended to move at least with i5
In United States i can get i7 3rd Gen far better

It will cost you bucks but remember on speed and cores
Right now software started using Multiple cores in processing that too good with intel Turbo Boost

dude, it’s a wrong perception with people like you…moreover generally in our country, out of ignorance. Just bcoz u dont see on TV in daily basis kareena kapoor carrying one doesnt mean that it’s cheap.
Asus is considered a premium n the most reliable laptop brand in the world.
Also, keep in mind that they are actually real hard core PC component makers n designers (including graphics cards + various components under the hood of other branded laptops including sony) unlike sony who only buys components n just assembles them under their brand name.

Now, as far as longevity is concerned, it’s very obvious that 99 times out of 100, asus will outlast sony bcoz heat dissipation due their dual sided motherboard design, which makes them virtually heat free. That’s why it was selected to be used in the international space station as well. n they are not chinese, but taiwanese, whose HTC many of us are fans here.

Computers are an entirely different playground, where just big brand names in general electronics such as sony and samsung does not mean any thing.

Recent statistics report: after experimenting all laptops for 3 years. The laptops that have created less problems after 2 years are as follows
1. Asus
2. Toshiba
3. Sony
last. HP

So go for Asus. It’s the leading motherboard manufacturer in the world. So they manufacture motherboards accordingly for their laptops (Ice cool technology). Sony and Dell are just assemblers. Even Sony and Dell may manufacture their displays, but still in the recent LED, LCD display review from Think DIGIT, ASUS LED ranked 1st. Asus displays give whiter white and natural colours too

Asus is No. 1 in Quality. Sony ki koi Aukad nahi hai Asus ke samne. Asus ki jitni badi range/variety hai. Sony kabhi Plan bhi nahi kar sakti. Sony mehenga hai iska matlab ye nahi ki woh better hai.

@29000 !! ( includes basic guradian antivirus, chicklet keyboard, HD cam etc etc etc )

acer may not be better than dell, hp, sony…bt till now i dnt hav any problem with ACER..

Just for general info:-
Compal,Quanta and Asus are the three leading contract laptop manufacturers in the world. All the motherboards are manufactured by them. As per their website, companies like dell,hp,lenevo etc buy 2nd or 3rd grade motherboards from them. Asus was the only company among these three which was manufacturing laptops too. Now other companies have started making business class laptops too.

Anyways when buying a laptop – final product matters rather than brand. Laptop companies have tie ups with different manufacturers (one for speakers,another for lcd panels, then for webcams and then motherboards,hard disks,graphic cards, etc etc). It is still possible that dell or hp or sony may bring better final product than the above three companies. Still Asus is getting better reviews day by day.

Me too says Asus is the best and completely hassel free evn they are self mfg and not just assemblers ….Go for Asus …:-)

Mr. Wolf, Jungle chodke, pehle shehar aa jao, phir tum jaan paoge, leading brand konsi hai. Yaha sab log keh rahe hai ASUS No. 1 Hai. Kya tum nahi dekh sakte. What i said is not basis of china or taiwan, it is based on my review after using the products, I have used those brands. Koryo AC i had also used and have very good experience with same..Sony ho dell ho ya ASUS, atleast 50% parts china mein hi bante hai..
