Indian Railways is coloring blue ICF coaches into yellow by spending 60 lakh per ICF coach and they call it UTKRISHT coach, interior is totally unchanged,
Blue color was best what you guys think
Rather than repainting the coach they should have changed interior, but unfortunately interior has same old broken seats
What is the point in spending 60lakhs per coach on a repaint job?

Irony is after spoiling train’s color they are calling it UTKRISHT coach, Don’t know which idiot chosen this dull and boring color
Yeah keep spending 60 lakh for some nonsense colouring while people are dying due to lack of Oxygen and basic medical amenities.
Doctors are being underpaid and the country is falling upon but colouring the coaches yellow is more important right.

From what I read there are multiple fittings & refurbishment other than paint unless it has changed recently as this article is from 2018.
The Pragati Express – 12125/26, rake has been refurbished with many new features such as ceramically tiled washrooms for better cleanliness, upgraded toilet amenities, and custom designed window ventilators in washrooms for air circulation. Led lights, new fans in all coaches, passenger info system in AC coaches are some of the other upgraded amenities,” the Central Railways said in an official statement.
Each coach has a different, pleasing interior with color coordinated vinyl film wall patterns and interior paint,” it added.
The Central Railways has 5 trains (10 rakes) identified for upgradation under the Utkrisht project. Upgradation of each rake is expected to cost about Rs.60 lakh.

in real this is not happening they are not changing interiors they are only painting outside that’s why it is an scam
Brand new Chinese AC high speed train coaches dont cost 60L…
Those are coaches where you travel at 300KPH and dont even know the train is moving.

There are some people who are answering and suggesting color without checking if the post is really true or not!!! Some people fell in the trap of a coordinated effort.

Few days ago i travelled in a so called UTKRISHT coach train, coach was painted pale but from inside coach was totally junk with broken wood torn rexine seats.. very bad experience.. I feel bad and scammed whenever I board any of such pale junk coach

It is not 60 Lakh, its is 60 Cr. 
Even after increasing fare multiple times they are still printing 57%
Before that railway was in profit but now due to such scams it is still shown in loss even after doubling the fare,
Motive is clear they want to loot public through any possible means
Increased fare directly goes to pockets of _______. That’s why IR still recovers only 57%.
During such a pandemic, it is very essential to take this step to paint the railways. A big step towards development. They should also paint the railway tracks.
