What's wrong with dimers? Bashing amazon? Seriously?

Just gone through all the pages. Wow what a drama. People talking about going to consumer court motivated by snapdeal iphone fiasco. It was not a price error. Court will ask from where you got the coupon. What will one say.? Got it from DD or some other forum as somebody posted it illegally/leaked it. Remember court can also penalize the complainant on wasting time and following illegal practices as well ask to pay huge compensation for duping the company. People are blasting amazon for the fraud they have done. Think again it is amazon or you who tried to dupe them they are only correcting what has gone wrong. Think if you were the seller would you be dispatching the orders because you gave a coupon to somebody who leaked it to everybody. You will not be willing to take a loss of 500rs. Amazon is a business not a charity. Also if this continues for a long time forget about the most supportive cc amazon has and their compensation policies. And believe me their cc has started deteriorating with time seeing the Indian mentality. You have seen this already in case mobile phone return policy last month . Many more to follow and then we will crib again. Get over with it guys.
And I know all the angry and frustrating people will start bashing me as amazon agent
This is all I have to say.
Amazon is the best and still people talking shit?
*THIS FEELS REAL BAD

Not that I am in favor of taking Amazon to court, but they are indeed in the wrong here. Even if somebody leaked that coupon, they are not a new business. They are the #1 eCommerce platform in many countries, including India. They should have known better to:
(1) Put limits on coupon redemption. It’s laughable that they would introduce a user-specific coupon without any limits on the number of times it could be utilized.
(2) Stop the huge number of orders from getting placed much earlier. It surprises me that it took them that long (~4 hours) to stop the orders from being placed.
Moreover, this seems like a sinister tactic to boost their sales numbers before the year-end closing! There, I said it.
@cybertechie @PaytmKaPoojari @bk08 Your views?Okay let’s assume amazon is crooked crap company trying to fool us Indians.
But what about our moral/ethical responsibilities?
This “LOOT” thing at desidime is going too far.
Pls also remember –
if amazon loses the case, assuming people file a suit and court accepts it, probably the seller will have to pay for evething. It’s not fair.
Just because an automated system sent you an invoice doesn’t mean it needs to be fulfilled unless they’ve taken your money and no refunded it.
cloudtail is not any other seller ……but amazon’s owned one

Each person ordering 10-20 quantities from each account and getting furious, when amazon cancels them. Is Amazon cheating or you?
bro, this post will make sense when people realize the long term benefit of Amazon than a price error loot. I can very well say today my experience of online shopping has changed. I use to think what if this will be not good buy, should i spent some more and buy it offline, what if stock is old online that’s why it is cheap. but with Amazon I have the time to think about something else other than thinking what will arrive and how would I deal if something is not right. We all have the experience of the first THE EBAY and then the later players including flipkart, we all know how pathetic cc is and the policies are one sided. Flipkart where they were not taking one headphone back as that was pathetic and when I tried selling it on olx they banned my account saying I am a reseller. after that never looked back to flipkart. One of my neighbours bought a tricycle for his 2 year daughter, and the tricycle was a self assembling one, he was unable to assemble it, so he asked me to help. then i found that one item is missing from the package, i told him to return, the cc told him that we cannot take the return stating missing item. then he called again saying there is defect, then thy generated return, the guy came after wa week to pick it and the refund has not been initiated till the time of writing this post. With Amazon my returns are picked up very next day and the refund are initiated within hours of pickup. If you say i am supporter of amazon, yes I am till they are true on their deeds and giving me amazing time and money saver deals and an awesome experience

yep flipkart customer care is getting worse and worse, where as amazon cc helps customer even if its not their fault. Just shows that they are the ONLY ecommerce who really care about customer satisfaction. KG dude.

where websites like shopclues, paytm etc. dont value customer service and support and their concern.
amazon does this to a great extent, being a pure International e-comerce website. even Indian companies also fail to address concerns of consumers in certain cases, amazon holds unparalleled record of customer satisfaction (in most cases barring few).
A small techincal glitch or error makes so furious all fellow dimers, what an impact overall will it make on amazon as a seller ??
Do hold some dignity and self respect u ppl.In case of usual price errors they bring down the listing or remove the seller within a couple of minutes but in this case they say that they were aware of the issue since morning and did nothing about it for atleast four hours, what do you think is the reason for this?

Don’t expect them to remain the same for long. There are a lots of idiots (sorry for the word) who just take advantage of this and try to scam them. Hope Amazon targets such people and continues with its good CC policy.

Amazon already knew about this @ around 1pm, but they didn’t took any action and let people to increase their site traffic.
some users who think that online shopping is not good ,will be now their regular costumer seeing huge discount they offers sometimes.
They played very well when they knew about this, when orders reached 50k+ then they removed product from site.
Now, you know at least 7-8k members are genuine new signups and out of them at least 4k will become their regular costumer.

Sorry but you have anything to back your claims about the new signups? Maybe they might have increased their site traffic but this would have mostly been a leak rather than they trying to boost their site traffic. At the end of the day they do know that they are going to rule e-commerce in India. They are not so brainless to do such things knowing about the huge public backlash and the possible flooding of their customer care.
Edit- By the way they couldn’t do anything because it was a sunday and their technical support staff would be less than regular.
…and at the end this thread will lead to BS

As they have deleted the order history ( purged ),
Most probably they r intended to boost the no. Intentions r clear, handling may be not up to the mark.

Err, so many people (including me) have clarified earlier that the Moto order did not disappear! As is usual with Amazon, all cancelled orders are moved to another page. So you just have to click on “Cancelled” at the top of the orders page. Or you can visit this link: https://www.amazon.in/gp/your-account/order-his...
you are acting like : ‘Amazon is GOD and is here to fulfill India’s wishes, specially for DesiDimers’ "….LoL
Grow up dear, Amazon is here for their own NEEDS, they are collecting a huge amount for USA, not for you. What Price can you PAY..this is even more Funnier…Every Person Here stating Amazon Right is actually Wrong. I am with #2.
i forgot stop to laugh when saw some more comments, eg : @vicks619 @mjdominates , @marketdimer, @cybertechie (this one was top funniest because he knows who was on leave on Sunday..:-) ), @ faisalgamer…
