Ever since my school and college days, I've heard a number of myths regarding stock market investing.
Nevertheless, when I started investing on my own, I quickly realised that most of these myths don't make too much sense...

The most common myth which I keep on hearing is that investing in individual stocks is better than investing in index funds.

Myth #1 that I was told a lot by so-called "experts": "It takes all of your time, you will be left with no free time for anything else. So only retired people should do it." 😂
Myth #2: "It is easy money, easy come, easy go." Easy go kaise hoga if you study the market and invest wisely and carefully?
Myth #3: "It is income without hard work i.e. without production of anything or without service offered to anyone so it's against morals and principles" 😁

2.FD is "always" better than stock investment.

The stock market is not for everyone,if you want to get profit you have to do research and invest wisely
Buy the dip is usually the tip
My funda was quiet simple keep watch on 3-5 stocks in news or market leader for 10-15 days only then invest in 1-2 stocks. Keep low track for 2-3 months and if in good profit sell atleast your cost value if in loss wait for another month or 2 than decide.
If not so keen to directly invest in stock market choose top equity mutal fund and invest in them. But for mutal fund SIP discipline and longterm investment is must you can start with Rs.1000 also its better if you choose 3-4 funds.
