Vi Recharge using main balance, still possible?

I was recharging Vi with 179 plan till last month using main balance via ussd *199#, location Hyderabad, Telangana
This month, after the recent tariff hikes, unable to recharge using main balance.
Could someone who has an active Vi pack contact customer care to check whether recharge can be done using main balance?

now you can activate rs199, rs299, rs349, rs.1749 by dialing *444*Amount# from main balance
