Surprised no one mentioned Nippon small cap, kotak flexicap

If the duration is longterm atleast 10Yrs put in any small cap fund

If the duration is less than 5yr mid cap fund

Less than 2Yr largecap

Ps always put in growth fund instead of balanced fund

you need to invest 10K+ to make any good returns if compounding is your goal

as anything below it is gonna take you a longer time which in itself will hurt your gains 

stick to fd or just keep it in account

maybe use it to upskill
