Is cashback credit card of sbi gives cashback over and above the money spent on amazon. Or just the amount off at time of payment.??

Cb card is not allowed for bank offers.
If you get discount for some reason, you will receive cb on your card but the cb will be taken back by the bank.

Cashback SBI sometimes works for such discount offers on Amazon. So if you select your Cashback CC during checkout and the 7.5% discount is applied, then enjoy. And yes, you will then receive another 5% discount as usual. I've done this several times already. 😉

You will get additional 5% on top of card discount if its sbi cashback. Recently tried it on Flipkart and few months back on amazon.
If normal sbi card the rewards will get reversed aftrr some weeks
