You can avail no cost emi interest discount on SBI card on any of the merchant whether its online or offline transaction.

For Example:

Total Outstanding on Card before the purchase= Rs 10000 (non emi balance)

No Cost Emi Transaction amount: Rs 50000 deducting Rs 5000 (no cost emi interest discount)= Rs 45000

Ignore the previous emi principal which are already running. (this doesn't need to be paid)

Make the complete payment of Rs 10000+ Rs 45000= Rs 55000 instantly after doing no cost emi txn (means billed+unbilled+nocost emi txn amount) and do not use the card for next 7 days maximum. In that time frame your merchant emi request gets declined by bank as there is no outstanding on card.

But if still you want to use the card, make the payment instantly for subsequent purchases.

SBI is the biggest cheater so be careful, Last year we had a very big lesson during the sale for cashback card.

So they try to recover by debiting the account for the same.

So be careful regarding the sbi.

i have the following doubts

a. sbi mentioned in its terms that 0 processing fee for 3 months emi, is it true or 2% will be levied? in Flipkart I am planning to buy Panasonic ac for which i am getting 3000 discount for no cost emi option.

b. how many banks provide the same facility like sbi, any one tried?

c. whether recently this hack is working or not, any one tried?
