(off-late) we were chipkao’ed some ‘Pixel’ brand stabs by the aircon dealer and they do not seem to have much issue. seem so-so
but better to get a live feed-back from a technically aware person (shop or mechanic) of the ‘actual’ power situation in the locality.
because it seems, even within the same brand, one model may perform better or be more suited for specific things; like,
say, model xyz of same rated capacity may actually be better at handling ‘high’ voltages than model abc of same rated capacity.
[this has been told to us by two three real world technical staff of the dealers in such goods.]
Not all areas always face ‘both’ situations, extreme high voltages and extreme low voltages. it is usually either /or of the two, depending on the locality.
