Indian Devices have fastboot mode available. But even on Indian devices bootloader unlock is not available as we require an Unlock key from LG , which needs to be requested using your IMEI and a device id which you get from a fastboot command . As I have an Indian device and fastboot works I tried applying for bootloader unlock key but LG till now is not provide bootloader unlock key for these devices.

What's the resale value of this phone right now? Had G8x for 6-8 months and sold it very soon after LG's announcement about shutting down mobile business (Got 18k back then ..almost same as my purchase price). Would've had it for a bit longer but hardly used the second usage because of battery life & Slow charging speed (Even if you're on a BT call, phone charging speed gets significantly low while it should've been based on device temp)

Hi to best of my understanding, even if u enable the UE folder it does not guarantee that you would have VOLTE . VOLTE config files for the carrier JIO / AIRTEL must be there in the phone already else it will not support VOLTE.
Hence , even though u had enable UE it did not enable VOLTE as ur device did not have the VOLTE config files for AIRTEL / JIO .
Now I say because of ur mistakes u have been landed in a difficult situation with ur modem . DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING MORE ON UR DEVICE.
If u want to restore ur modem I would highly advice u to get a paid service from @ Unlock_LG on Telegram . He may charge anywhere between 10 to 30 USD and he is the best bet . I know the guy personally and except probably a few guys in China he is the most knowledgable and easily accessible . Also the guy is based out of Ukraine so ur supporting someone from the country. Also tell him that u had donated during the SM8150 firehose crowdfunding and see if he can discount u a bit on the service . You may also ask him if he could do a Cross Flash to India Version which may bring u VOLTE ( but CROSS FLASH is never easy so it may also break the Modem once again. TG user MAMA TAO has extensive knowledge on Cross Flashing )
