No Electricity Bill Payment on UPI Apps as per RBI, Says TGSPDCL

Hyderabad: Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL) has requested consumers to make the monthly current bill payments through TGSPCDL Website/TGSPDCL Mobile app. In a post on X, the company stated that the payment service providers such as PhonePe, Paytm, Amazon Pay, Google Pay and Banks have stopped to accept the electricity bills of TGSPDCL as per the RBI directions from July 1.

It is their fault that they haven't integrated into BBPS. Instead of meeting the deadline, they are now shifting the blame on RBI
