Sir, being a bank employee I can tell you that the sure fire way of resolution is RBI OMBUDSMAN COMPLAINT.
This can be done online and offline both. The later subject to presence of RBI office in your city.
You need to provide evidence of your communication with Axis Bank and their corresponding replies and rejection of your complaints etc. Resolution usually takes about a month. They'll call you for further investigation and put pressure on top management of Axis on your behalf
Rest assured the CRM mechanism is pretty strong and they usually rule in favour of the customer. All the best.

It must be the company having presence in your city’s street only and if I am not wrong the number of employees in your company are less than 10. The corporate language won’t suit them. It’s only possible via RBI or through a case which is not worth for the company. Harsh but true
Ethical..Unethical does not matter for a private company what company wants they will make it ethical. you can ask payment through cheque.
Try opening a joint axis account with family member as primary and your name as secondary
Best fix is open three cases.

brother, at the most they may stop giving or hold you salary even after you work (for the time being, temporarily) so forget the termination threat altogether. Be relaxed and follow suggestions of fellow members here. And also start finding a lawyer who deals in employment matters in the meanwhile, its just a precautionary step, I strongly feel such necessity doesn't arises at all. Next time if any credit card agent comes, don't fall into such trap again just for the sake of that card rewards, it's a hard learnt lesson to you now.

One of the Top IT company asked for opening my sal acc with hdfc, I already had an account with icici so i insisted on using the same... After a brief discussion with HR, finally they agreed to that.
It seems HR guys get commission for opening sal acc with these banks, but at no point they can threat you of your job.

Axis Bank Agents use to do this to complete there Targets one account was Opened in my name some where nearby Delhi area and in that time period I never visited Delhi and when I visited nearest Axis Bank branch I saw the details in which front Side off AADHAR Was of mine and backside of aadhaar card was of someone else and Pan card was of someone else
afaik Infosys also only credits salary in ICICI and AXIS
RBI ombudsman me complaint daal bhai... I was in bank nd beleive me RBI ombudsman ka jab notice aata tha complaint ke regarding to branch manager choro zonal manager ka halat kharab ho jata tha.... RBI me kaafi pehle hi jana tha bhai tumhe
Not sure if anyone else has suggested this to our desidimer friend. I suggest you open a new account in any of your family member's name preferably a elite variant account. Post account opening, get your name added as a joint account holder. Hope this works.

If he/she is not able to help, escalate to RBI

Explain everything in detail. They will definitely look into that. I had been facing KYC Blacklist issue for more than a year due to which I can't open an account with them. I wrote to every higher authority nodal, chief nodel, BM, RM etc. The last two guys treated me irreverent. After the escalation to the ceo, he called me and spoke with an irritating tone that why you took that matter to CEO. He arranged for another agent who did the job for me. Finally my problem resolved. Hope the same for you.
