ITR refund not recieved

I had Paytm bank added from last year, however ICICI bank was added for refund nomination.

But they had transferred refund in Paytm bank and it failed as expected but its not allowing to create refund reissue. Already more than 10 days passed. Refund reissue option showing there is no failed refund.

Is anybody facing similar issue? What can I do now? I raised a grievance today but I think they will not reply properly there, faced similar issue in my mom' account and grievance was of no help.

Wait for 5-6 days more, you'll get refund reissue option.

Why did it fail due to Paytm bank suspension issue?

Ideally they should have sent to ICICI as it was nominated one but don't know why they sent to Paytm Bank.

Yes paytm bank is permanently banned from taking money into any account. No incoming only outgoing.

delete paytm from the portal, delete and re add icici or add another bank.

it will possibly auto reissue after new verification due to previous failure.

i had the same issues last year when some psu banks merged refund got auto triggered after reverification.

you will also  get a  reissue option in some days as transaction verification, reversal etc can take 15-20 days.

in grievance they do reply in 1 2 days but reply will mostly be the same to remove and add new bank then do reissue.
only after 4 5 grievances they take some action by that time you will probably get it by just reissuing yourself.

better raise grievance for missing reissue button later rather than failure of refund.

your itr is verified and you will get the interest on refund so don't worry
