I have bought 15 kg rice before from Zepto. It was having insect infestation. Raised the complaint and got the refund.
Distributed rice to crows. Crows seemed happy.
Send these images to Flipkart but the problem is that after 7 days of delivery they won't consider a refund. But if you are a VIP customer, then there is hope.
Not mine just shared for awareness
This is storage and also maybe bad packaging problem
Have you noticed that some brands:
- List products with higher MRP than that is available in local shops. Sometimes even with discount, price comes higher than local.
- Sometimes the quality of online items feel different compared to offline products from same brand
- Some Products are packaged differently compared to offline shops.
Maybe the brands keep aside some stock or some quality stock for e-commerce platforms
They should send this bags to Pa*istan 😂😂.They will happily eat this.
Depends on the brand opted also.
Bro not each and every brand is available at all over India
Brands are also location specific
You may find showing on the selling platform but they don't deliver
As a rule, I stick to brands that are otherwise readily available in local market and well known. these are normally fast moving items so chances of getting damaged product is less. Personally, I avoid buying rice or atta from flipkart and prefer bigbasket or instamart for that.
Flipkart grocery follows "open box delivery" so items are required to be checked by the buyer at the time of delivery. This is informed by them over automated phone one day before every delivery.
This happens more of wrongly Storage at retail end(retailer warehouse) or during transit.
Dmart is best ..they immediately take any item if it has insect..
E commerce grocery stores do not take care of there product properly and they don't know when the expire.
E commerce is nothing different than retail sellar - issue is related with brands, ofcourse price is fluctuated, however if you are regular buyer of grocery, you knew the actual price. Since many years I am buying most of the products online even grocery from Flipkart and other online e commerce, I always get better deal and less price.
I am ordering regularly from Flipkart grocery and getting things at cheaper rate than market..just one suggestion always order items from branded companies..for example in the post, someone ordered local brand miniket rice
Always go with branded products ..there would be less chances of quality issues
2 times i have ordered atta from instamart and both times i got fatta hua packet with almost 5 cm big cut , At time of delivery, i showed and asked delivery guy why did you even accept the pick up from store when it is clearly seen that this package is damaged and lots of flour is spread in your bag... he said they are sending it even when they know that it's damaged. so both times i have to take frustration of contacting CC and asked for replacement order.... Bad experience...
