This is happening with all apps now.. as the transaction is happening through bbps I was able to see the amount paid in the statement immediately tried from cred, jio finance, phonepe last week and payment reflected within seconds.

In some cases I heard it took 5 mins to reflect

In other apps you need to enter 16 digit card number

but in BHIM only last 4 digit

So easiest way.

its instant (don't take 5 mins)

I paid many bills and bank message/notification come before the payment confirmation screen appears, may be because BHIM use direct server without mediator (third party)

(as per my experience other apps like Amazon also use BBPS but take almost 30 min - 2 hours to process the bill)
