Income tax payment offers Credt Card/Debit Card

I need to pay some income tax and wanted to see if dimers has experience with the best payment method.
I noticed that paying with a debit card has 0% charges,
while credit card payments incur fees of 0.85%-1%.
Are there any rewards or benefits with credit card payments that outweigh these charges?
I am right now considering paying using HDFC debit card as it has 1% cashback.

Which hdfc debit card will give 1% cb on tax payments? HDFC Platinum debit card won't give 1% on tax payment unless mcc code is of utility which is highly unlikely for a govt tax payment website.
