Guys, I see some sore users on this thread who are afraid that their ability to do “mindless bickering” and debate useless political propaganda is going to go away on this Deals and Shopping portal. But let them not ruin your forum experience anymore.

And let’s not forget that if and when the administrators do develop a feature to completely ignore particular subforums, political topics always lead to hostility among certain members who maintain different opinions or support different political parties. And this hostility invariably shows up even on threads present in other subforums.

if people are not civilised, or are opinionated and inward looking, then ‘nothing’ can stop flare-up.

I don’t care about any keeping or quashing of ‘any’ thread, be it religious, political or trading or anything.

But do feel that a better forum is only possible.. if the better side of forumites comes out rather than the avoidable sides of their personalities coming out.

And frankly its not like I am indispensable. People come, people go from the world also. Desidime won’t stop by some people going (or being shown the door) nor they are fully dependent on Desidime.

If people know what is good and what ought to be avoided, then policing isn’t needed. And if they dont know or dont want to implement it, THEN policing can never be effective.

i have a request count votes of only those dimers who have 500 + karma or any other criteria u @admin seem fit to nullify such votes

i am 100% sure people has multiple ids and they vote for option 1. how there is such increase in option 1 in last few hours. This is unfair for others dimers who voted sincerely. This is a type of duplicate voting and cheat

@admin either move them to completely different section (comments of which doesn’t come in recent posts) or completely remove them. I voted for trash as that was better in my point of view.

Scenario:
case 1:
1 > 2 + 3 ==> politics not allowed at all

case 2:
1 < 2 + 3

but 2 > 3 ==> things will not change

case 3:
1 < 2 + 3

What’s this “1 > 2 + 3” nonsense. There are 3 simple options in this poll, whichever gets the highest vote gets implemented. That’s how polls work. Don’t be ridiculous!
