How ebay and ebay buyer scammed me HELP!!!

Hi Dimers,
I sold a 2tb seagate hd on ebay and after few days i got a call from ebay(I was out side at that time) saying that buyer opened a claim on me that he has received 1tb hard disk and he even uploaded the images on ebay claim page. After i went home and checked the pictures and shocked because he received a 1tb WD HD which i did not sell!! how?
I got realized that i buyer scammed me for the hard disk and contacted the ebay. the customer representative said that i need to provide any pictures that i have taken before shipping the parcel. Seriously!!! i sold around 10 hard disk that week how can i take pictures and videos of the parcel while packing it? how many seller are doing this? after that the buyer return shipped the package and ebay approved buyers claim
again i opened the claim on sellers protection. after 3days i received the buyers return parcel and came home and unboxed it. Guss what he send me a bunch of news papers in the box. As i know he is going to scam me i asked my brother to open the box and videoed it
I sent these images and videos to [email protected]. after that they called me when i was not near my phone and got below email

so i have forwarded everything except " we would request you to provide us with the scan copy of formal complaint in writing that you have received the empty parcel with acknowledgment, seal / stamp of courier service" I asked the my local courier company for a written and they rejected my request saying that it is not their problem that i have got an empty parcel and i should contact the person whomever i sent it
So i have called ebay customer service and said the courier company is not providing any letter to me and he replied that i should provide whatever proof they have asked even though it is not available.+ HOW HOW HOW should i provide a letter that is not provided by DTDC courier agrrrrrrrrrrr! I just want to kill every one (Sorry

So they again closed the claim and i lost 7000/- what happens if i sold a iPhone 6 128gb and buyer receives a nokia 1100 128kb?
any suggestions? how i can get my money back from this shit hole ebay?

But I can’t understand why both of buyer’s feedback even given by you are GREEN (Positive) when they are supposed to be RED (negative)?

means that ‘you’ write the formal letter on paper/ printout and send them the scan/digital photo of the same.
as for the local courier office not stamping it or acknowledging it.. hope you have been living for quiet some time in India.
Here even top political or private level appointments are secured by submitting documents that are not exactly..
well the point is, you can ask some considerate staff at local office (or any other locality, say a kilometre or two away from your home) to at least stamp it and initial it.
I do not think one has to give up all hope just yet. @DealSeeker sir says all legal recourse may have been exhausted; but I think as @micke says; first trying to reach a sensible senior is worthwhile. and if that does not work intimate them of the written lrgal letter, get the same drafted from a legal advisor. even 5Rs is as important as 50000 IMO

BTW as said by dimers above, Check the weight of WD HDD from their website and check weight you received from DTDC.
if weight of Original HDD is greater than parcel you got, you have a big chance to win.
Otherwise, you have to find some other way
Maybe include Media or Police? 7k is not a small amount. But I must say that your timing is bad. Ebay Care must be flooded with emails from recent coupon misuse.

the video thing is faff. you probably were getting snowballed by some staff not trained or equipped to handle such things.
if they persist; (and I would not be too proud to even suggest this usually).. just make unauthorised stamp of the courier and put it in your written complaint.
the weight markings on courier site wont help as the data entry operators usually create the order with some pre-set slabs.
you may even create the damn video on a phone which has been set to a previous date or on a point and shoot.
just prepare the dummy lookalike video of the packing.
I feel this thread has to be deleted as many looters might misuse it. You have told the whole world about ebay loops and definitely this is a free education to fraudsters. Please delete at least the ebay loopholes. Some senior dimer who might be an ebay seller might help you. Ignore if you feel I am not making any sense.

i would suggest u to contact that other seller too who was scammed by this person and both of u should
send mail to ebay top officials along with some media house eg ndtv and write your whole story
attach all documents videos and screenshots along with the buyer ratings one where the other seller left comment about the buyer…they need to know that this is not the first time he is doing this

The buyer intentionally scammed me and another seller previously (check his ratings) using ebay policies which have several loop holes. I don’t think is going to respond to my messages. I tried to call him but his number is not reachable(mostly it is a fake number and you wont be able to reach). I have requested the ebay team several times on call not to refund the buyer and i even tried to convenience them that is just replaced by taking the new hd out and replaced it with a old 1tb hd in pictures. But no one cared to listen to my concern. You guys just took his fake pictures as proof and approved the refund. This scammer wont stop even if you block his account(he will create a new one). You need to make changes to your seller protection policies. This is happening to many sellers. I have already posted this matter on several online forums and even contacting some media too
Anyway Please contact the buyer in this matter and refund my money. Hope you will help me
