Annual fees 500 so wont take it. HDFC is stupid, even the payzapp rupay card had 99 annual fee so took the icici rupay LTF now hdfc is giving it ltf . Now i have 3 icici cards and just the one hdfc regalia which also is hardly ever used. Not taken the hdfc neucard either only because of annual fees.

The trend of ltf credit cards is going away. ICICI easily gives ltf cards because none of their cards are worth paying anyway except amazonpay card for which buying prime membership is kind of must to get max benefits. Axis is a good example, they rarely give ltf cards except under some limited time offer for any user whose application is approved.

I have heard even if you take it as FYFand not activateit for 28days, HDFC will call you and offer you to make it LTF.

It showed ltf from my alternate number not registered in banking records, changed to that binary but was rejected saying that they don't issue co branded second card as holding regalia business

in HDFC most of the upgrades are step by steps or it depends on networth and relationship and If I am not wrong you travel internationally a lot right, Regalia Gold is a decent card with free priority pass for both Main and Add-on cards and can be used to access lounge at the same time using both
this is my history so far with HDFC
2019 Aug - LTF Diners Club Miles
2022 Aug - LTF Diners Millennia
2024 Aug - LTF Diners Privilege
hoping with this trend by 2025 they offer me LTF Diners Black
