Pre Approved HDFC Credit Card Application Rejected in less than 5 mins

I wanted to share with you all that yesterday I received an SMS from HDFC Bank to apply for a CC. I clicked on the link and followed the process. After entering few details, I was shown 2 pre-approved CC for me viz., Indian Oil CC and Money Back CC. I selected Money Back and proceeded with application as usual.
To my surprise, within a span of 5 mins I got an SMS as We have completed processing your HDFCBank CreditCard App 21HXXXXXXX. For details please visit http://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/credit_card/cc... after 2 days.
When I checked the status , It was written as Your application is DISAPPROVED
If they had to reject the application, then why did they preapprove in the first place?
PS : I am holding this account since 1 year and also I have decent CIBIL Score. Also they have provided me a good EMI limit in my Millenia DC.
Shall I get in touch with Branch staff regarding the same?
Received my card today , itni fast process mene ajtk ni dekhi wow 
On hdfc app it shows card status as dormant . Do i need to activate it ?
I think by default International and tap and pay option will be disabled.
Online and merchant should be enabled
Applied on 21st, still showing application in process.
Bro i guess most of old application are inprocess state
I applied on 22 still inprocess
Mine was pending from 21st and today its showing as declined. I saw that application reference number got changed from previous one after decline status and if search with old one it says ‘Your application is Error’!!.
I was getting the same credit card application banner which everyone is getting in their offers section.
Checked and in the 2nd step Business moneyback card was showing as pre-approved.
Apply this , get faster approval without any documents bla bla.
I exited because I wanted milennia or some better card.
I figured out that this card was approved for me because in my profile section I had filled my earning details as Business income.
I changed it to salaried and expected the offered card to change.
But than later realized that it would take at least a month to to affect my pre approved offer
So I went back again and submitted a previously pending application as student without submitting any income proof. (Monday)
The status started showing approved in evening.
Today 12:40am got a congratulation SMS.
And at 9:31 am got an OTP to create pin.
Just checked. The credit limit I have got is 75k.
My application is approved 🤔 aub kya hoga next ??

Credit card approved with in 9 hour 😁 msg rcvd . But limit na lgi pta😴😴 abhi your card will be delivered in 3 days
Use whatsapp HDFc chat feature it will revert you with limit or Chat from chatbot on hdfc website it will also tell u limit

i have applied card on October 18 and on October 21.Home verification is done by cc team and they tried to verify at office but manager told that my job is not permanent. Card rejected to that. At the time of home verification executive told card will be approved if details is correct. On that time is cibil is 656.
shall i able to reapply after 3months or 6months.
As a student. Anybody knows about this.Already having sbm fd (onecard) credit card
6 months and cibil 750+ to be on safe side
Else open SB account and park 70k for 7-9 months , bank will call and give you pre approved card
branch executive told that it is 3 months .They don’t know anything. I have hdfc sb account always keeping 10 k in account for 2.5k mab account.
3 months is risky
For 2.5k Ac keep min 35k and do transactions , pre approved will def come

I applied for hdfc credit today... After reading majority of cases here .. My hopes of getting my hdfc credit card approved is ended.😂😂 ..seeing u all i am not anyone special... So i will not gonna get my hopes high... But still i have a wish 😂 which is pretty hard form being completed
I have applied on 20th and it’s been 5 days but still says inprocess.
