Good news from HDFC for new add-on cards

Until now HDFC was issuing the same card number as primary to all add-on cards.
Now bank has started issuing separate card number for each add-on card and for online transactions, OTP will be sent to add-on holder's mob number. Great move by HDFC bank.
To apply add-on card for family members who are existing HDFC customer, simply apply from Netbanking using add-on holder's customer iD.
Verified personally, card delivered today.

Applied Addon for hdfc Tata Neu rupay card. Got different card number , but, that card is not detected in Rupay cc list and also mobile is still associated to primary card holder. Useless rupay card

So if the Addon Rupay card is linked to Your mobile number than are you able to add it in your UPI account. Because SBI issues addons with different mobile and card numbers but still you cannot link SBI Rupay addon card to UPI.

Possible only if secondary card user also has an account in HDFC Bank otherwise you will have to submit add on card application at the nearest branch.

As far as I understand, they will give the same card number on expiry or replacement unless reported as lost.
