Yes . Good ahead with your ranting blame the average Indian working man for deaths of soldiers.
Policies are written by the Government not by people in Chandni chowk or chai stalls. What has the government offered to protect the Indian manufacturing ?
All of a sudden the Indian middle class is the villain for buying the best value of product based on his limited income. People will forget about this in the next couple months and will flock to Chinese products because they’re purchasing power and saving are reduced thank to this pandemic.
Indian manufacturing is treated like shit due to bureaucratic red tape and corruption. And now the pandemic has pushed them to bankruptcy. And what’s the government solution? LOANS!! What a joke.
And if you are still playing bjp baad politics.. ph*** off.. this is above bjp or congress
People here talking about “Boycott Chinese goods” as if their words will resonate and everone will stave off Chinese goods in the next couple of months. The Central Government can hurt Chinese interests by levying tariffs on Chinese manufactured goods or raw materials.
Even an idiot like Trump was right with the trade war with China. By imposing a wide amount of tariffs he made Chinese products more expensive and even American companies paid the price for shifting their manufacturing there. Our current government wouldn’t do that because all the corporates who donate big bucks to his election campaigns benefit from Chinese manufacturing or investors.
Before the 1991 liberalization we were a protectionist economy. Foreign manufactured goods were hard to find and were pricey thanks to tariffs. To protect Indian MSMES they can levy tariffs on unfair players. But no, the government will pass its responsibility to the common citizen with the ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’, and ‘Vocal for local’. Empty words and no action from Supreme Leader ji
@Wontdisplaymyname First of all soldiers never killed. Remove this and use Martyred
I cannot edit the post now
Also, I took the title from the news headline, those are not my own words.
It’s so easy for us to say “Take China head on”. Little do we understand the economical spiral impact of a blown up war with the already ongoing battle with COVID-19.
China is a might, a real mighty monster on our head & with it’s veins running within our countrymen themselves.
The only way we can kill China is commercially by being self reliant & stop using their products, that too slowly & steadily. China is everywhere in our lives from Needles to Food Ingredients.
The government & by far we ourselves are to blamed for this.
Every organisation wants to reduce costs by having the same quality materials at cheaper rates. That’s where China comes into play, MASS PRODUCTION. The domestic manufacturer cannot compete with these chinese prices. The trader has no option but to import and feed his livelihood.
Will our own corporate organisations pledge that
“WE WILL BUY INDIA & NO MORE CHINESE”? NO, because they are in another streak of global competition.
The only way we beat China is if our government grants great great amount of subsidies to manufacturers from every specific industry. Hypothetically, start with just one manufacturer from every specific industry. Empower them much & see China on it’s knees in a few years.
The sales figures of the new MI Laptop launching today will let us know how patriot are we.
If they offer corporates any sops then standard jhollachaps will cry a river screeching " crony capitalism!!!!" while frothing from their mouth then they wipe it off and use iPhone to comment on Twitter about it. We are doomed unless these cheen agents are taken care of..
I m sure with my tax I m paying for the salaries of soldiers, their comfort, meals, weponary. Whoever I’m not sure if my purchases are going to China or the poor Indian retailers, salers or common ppl who make their living from the trade. I m not gonna leave them on the lurch based hunch n speculation. No, I am not going to boycott any Product.
and the Current disaster in India-China border is because of Failure of Indian Leadership and also Media to a large extent – not because of me
The Govt. Can’t blindly Ban each and every Chinese Product or companies to manufacture or Invest In India,
There are international Trade Policies Set up for the same reasons.
There are Lakhs of Indian S/w professionals working on Chinese S/w products
from companies Like HCL , Wipro , TCS , Lnt , Cognizant etc. to name a few.
If we impose ban on China , then China can also do the same to us… What is the solutions you suggest for this ?
As Long as the Demand Continues.. There has to be a supply source to Fill it
So as long as We Indians Keep On Asking for Chinese Shit in the Name of Value for Money or Bang For Buck
We will always be at back-foot as a nation.. Initially we may not get good facilities and products which are being
provided by Chinese products right now.. but our Companies need to evolve and turn up into manufacturing units
most of the Startups or new companies in India are only S/W based… No one cares to Build H/W based companies
Which is China’s biggest strength , Coz you can get S/w to be developed anywhere , but not all countries produce Hardware
Rest You guys have your own common sense , No one can enforce his / her thoughts on anyone unless you want to see
and understand the other side of the story and know the Demand and Supply Logic.
Citing Use or Chinese Products by others or Rich or Poor or middle class shouldn’t be the basis of Your Patriotism .
Ki Wo Use Karte hai to Ham kyu patriotic bane rahe.. Aisa bolne wale Maha Bewakoof Hain…
Kyuki Unki Khud Ki Akal Pe Patthar Pade Hue Hain and their own actions are based on the Mindset of other people , they just feel convenient to state their reason by citing others , instead of accepting that they are actually wrong , Which is the Real Truth.
Govt. Sab ban kar de… China Pe hamla karde…. Aisa Bolne Wale Logo Just think when we are already fighting a war against Covid19 , should we push ourselves or Govt. to fight another one.
Tumhare Ghar se koi Army person nahi hai so you dont know the value of them , you feel like you own them or their lives aur kabi bi attack karwa do China pe , wo to foulad
ke bane hai na.. Unko thode hi kuch Hoga.. Chasma Lagao Aur Samjho Cheejo Ko
Where there’s Will , there’s way… Govt can…. Recently govt changed law after Chinese investment IN HDFC…. import export equation is too much leaning towards china.. any step will hurt them badly… It needs leadership decision ;just like US did with Huawei/ ZTE etc on security concerns… May b china see India as soft target to distract world from other issues like Corona, South China see, Taiwan, Vietname etc
Ps :for 5g india must follow US policy (for equipments not to procure from china)…
We have to try and slowly decrease our dependence on China.
To start with lets not promote deals which are funded by Chinese (for ex PayTm, Flipkart,Swiggy etc)
If we are really serious about this we’ll rise above our personal gains and avoid sites funded/having stakes by Chinese.
Dimers can keep a close watch on people who are promoting such deals and decide for themselves.
If we as a community still allow promotion of such deals on this platform we should stop being hypocrite and stop having such discussions. Time will tell.
Not on the grounds of trade war, it was for sanctions against Iran. There’s no law, even US’ domestic, that allows the US govt to arbitrarily ban any other company →

And the US, unlike India, actually has strong laws that you simply shouldn’t be trying to circumvent.

It took only 5 replies to this thread to find out that China is leading the manufacturing revolution just because of a powerful leader like Modi, chanakya like Shah and james Bond like Doval. I was totally under deep misconception. Kudos for clearing the air over this.
Both govt trade measures as wel as people boycott of products is needed … currently import export ratio is 4:1🤔https://www.bhaskar.com/business/economy/news/india-can...

FOLLOW LIVE UPDATES ON INDIA-CHINA CLASH
The bodies of some of the deceased soldiers, among the 20 who were killed, were mutilated during the clash between Indian and Chinese armies. This has become one of the primary causes behind the simmering anger in the units stationed in the region.
Leh Corps Commander is in touch with the 3 Divisional Commanders on an hourly basis to keep tabs on the simmering situation. Options are being discussed and China has proposed more talks, but has not specified the military level.
Efforts are being made to contain the spillover effect to control the rising tempers among Army units at the three other standoff points in Ladakh, especially in Pangong Tso, where the situation has been especially precarious over the past weeks. With the troops there already having to beat each other on three occasions in the last 40 days — May 5-6, May 13 and finally on May 29, the situation is extremely tense.

Why don’t you direct your anger at the policy-makers for letting the enemy set shop in our own backyard mate?
Cheen lovers are ready to part ways with Arunachal Pradesh for getting a OnePlus 8 pro 5g in return for free maybe ??
Jaichands in India are still buying/advocating Chinese products.
From now on bjp will face losses in elections for every loss to our army.
