After the recent move os4 upgrade my bike stopped working.I enter the passcode the screen turns blank.The factory reset isn't working.Raised the complaint with ola support a week ago no resolution till date.If I raise my voice while speaking to them they disconnect the calls.Now I talk to them like a speak to a yr old kid.Still no use.I am vexed with their support executives.No use even after complaining on twitter.
My two cents of advice
1) don't buy ola ev's
2 ) if u have paid them an advance amt try cancelling the order and get ur amt back.
Till it works no issues once it stops working you are on your own.
I was shocked to see an entire page of frustrated ola users on twitter.I thought I was alone.
Pls don't buy the vehicle.
And I heard these idiots are coming with ola e cars too.There audacity even after so many issues with existing segment.

My friend bought a OLA S1 Pro 3 months ago.
Last month we went on a vacation for a week and during that time his Ola's battery discharged and there was no one at home to charge it.
When he returned it didn't turn on and it didn't charge also.
When he contacted OLA Support, they said that the battery has to be replaced by paying some 62k.
He tried reaching all the service heads of various regions and they were not giving proper responses. Eventually, they stopped picking his calls. OLA CC were useless as they were simply putting the call on hold for hours. The Local OLA Showroom dismantled his scooter for inspection and didn't even set it back. They simply carried his dismantled scooter to his home and put it as such.
Finally, he decided to file a case on Consumer Court and he sent a legal notice to OLA. Then they called him and said that they will replace the battery for free but he has to wait for 1 month as there is no battery in stock. Now waiting for their response.
The vehicle is still in dismantled condition
(The local OLA Service Head said that now a days OLA Headquarters is not even responding to their calls. If there are any battery issues, these local service heads take the battery to their nearest local service guys and they service it as there is no support from OLA side)
This is very unfortunate.He has to sue them and claim addn damages too.
The first thing I do when I take my vehicle for service is to ask them (not request) is not to update any software on the vehicle.
This reminds me that I should stick some tape and block the OBD port of my vehicle next time I go in there..
I am skeptical about the intentions of all these new age companies. My impression is that their primary focus is on exaggerating sales ( to increase its valuation ) rather than the ultimate satisfaction customers derive from their products.
I will never go for an EV, unless that becomes the only option available.

Those purchasing these modern toys seem to have excess money to waste.
What i observed from multiple reviews is, whenever these connected scooter report to company about mishap(burning )that's gonna happen; server silently switches off all controls of scooter to preserve it from burning into flames. BMS installed continuously monitors battery health and send reporting to servers.
Until or unless they(service centre) fix it, scooter won't get back to normal.
🤣🤣🤣 I knew it when they launched the scooter. Forget battery, even scooter is so fragile and no safety. Front handlebar breaks in small potholes 🤣. Ola is literally making everyone Xuthiya and people are also becoming one in order to save money of petrol. In reality after service charges and bopttery changing costs more.
Better to consider different brand like hero or others. Best option is to wait for review of new brand.

Lot of complaints... My friends ola is also in service station since 2 months... Heard fosnt switch on and no service support
I’m using Ola s1 pro from last 1 year.. I went to a service station. it was full and was not able to talk to a service engineer for an hour ... left after that. they’ve sold more than they can support.
There should be a mechanism to forbid manufacturers from selling new vehicles unless and until more than 75% of pending complaints are resolved.

Ola uber ko drive hi karne do.. inka product bekar hai.. itni video aati hai kab kaha fat jaye .. inke dar se ham dhup me nahi rakhte apni e bike.. for me working good hero optima since 3 year .no maintenance till now
I have ola s1 pro, using it since 14 months, no issues, only minor bugs like screen turns off randomly or map doens't work, but no problem otherwise. What i follow for any electronic is never let it discharge below 25% and I frequently reboot it, especially before and after update

ev is good without any software os processor etc like low end evs there are no software processor etc means battery controller n just motor
even though these os n touch etc are very gimmicky n hv no actual use

And Ola is now planning an IPO for Ola EV, the mad rush by investors would make you dizzy. So many stocks that are scaling new heights in market today are just nicely wrapped empty cardboards, we just buy into their Cock and bull stories.
This is the Era in India where people are fooled the most, people are completely out of sync with reality.
Is this with all ola or older models only? I was thinking to buy new sx model.
Was just browsing them to buy, getting calls from their sales executives for 2-3 days already. Thinking to call off the purchase plan now

I guess the early gen EVs are very problem-ridden. Will take years before they become reliable performers.
One of my biggest regrets over the years has been purchasing an ev scooter. I see my friends with RE Hunter, and wanna throw my toy in junk.
And i disagree with someone who called EVs the future. If anything, we have realised why EVs are not going to work with current battery tech. Hydrogen powered vehicles may very well turn EVs obsolete coming decade and hence I would advice people stick with demonized fuel guzzlers till that happens.
Bro no issues with EV vehicles they are good I mean some EV's but problem comes when these idiots don't provide a proper after sale services.my cousin drives an ev bike from some reputed brand.In th event of any issues a single complaint the dealer's technician visits her place sorts it out faster.Here in my case it's ola's customer support and after sales support which has spoiled the user experience

I recently bought an Ather 450x.
When I was comparing on YouTube Ola and Tvs appeared better - shown to have better range, looks wise some preferred others and cost wise also was lesser. However, I had a perception that Ather is better (not sure why?) And on many forums users were suggesting Ather for a better matured product and peace of mind.
It' s been approx 2 months and a very smooth experience till now. I had been riding it in eco mode for a month for better range, but now I ride in sports or Warp mode unless the battery is less than 30%.
I am glad I didn't fall for so many YouTube comparison videos.
