Disney+ Hotstar videos are too dark in Mobile

Respected dimers! While streaming content on Hotstar on mobile, the videos are dark and the inbuilt brightness control doesn't work. Even if I set the max brightness it remains the same. On the internet many people say it's because of HDR but there's no option to disable it. Any workaround for this? Thanks for your help!
