Credit card suggestions for first timer

Hi dimers! I need suggestions regarding taking credit card for the first time! I'm still studying and can't show a salary slip. SBI cashback credit card is the ultimate cc for me. But few days ago it was rejected. So what should be my roadmap to get this card? I think I need to get a cc first to build CIBIL and then again apply for SBI cb cc. My main expenses are on flipkart, swiggy, several online medicine app, apay gv. Also, SBI is my primary banking sector. I've talked to few of my friends and fellow dimers about this issue. Now posting publicly for suggestions about what needs to be done. Thanks!

Yes, but I don't shop on amazon much, mainly use apay gv for different payments. How about SBI simply click? But getting an SBI cc may hinder of having a chance to be able to get that cb cc, isn’t it?

Without salary slip, without cibil, don't go for sbi cashback cc , amazon icici like that cards , bnega hi nh...

Infact go for rupay cards, like pnb rupay card which needs 12K salary, another option is hdfc indian oil card which requires 10K salary...

Honest suggestion is to go for idfc wow cc which is FD based, cibil start ho jayega usse, and then wait for 3 months atleast, fir koi aur cc try kro and wo bhi basic rupay cc, kyunki is condition me 25-30K salary requirement wale bnenge hi nh...

Another option is try bpcl sbi card, kisi bhi bpcl petrol pump pe apko sbi ke agent mil jayenge, wo sb setting kr denge, apko so sure card bhi mil jayega bpcl ka, use kro , fir aur card bn jayenge, this method is tried and tested for my cousin, she started with bpcl sbi though agent then she got RBL , hdfc and two months ago she got axis my zone LTF without any document, she has 12K salary only...
