Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot directed a “complete lockdown” in the state, except for essential services, till March 31.
The rich will get beds in the hospitals , it is the poor people like us who will have to suffer the most
Most people are blaming the governments but this seems to be like a natural disaster that no one has control over
I hope things get normal in the next month or so even though it looks very highly unlikely at this point

Rly suspends all passenger trains till Mar 31
In an unprecedented move, the railways on Sunday announced suspension of all its passenger services from March 22 midnight to March 31 midnight and said only goods trains will run during the said period.
The railways had already trimmed down its services on Friday by cancelling a majority of trains.
However, it had allowed all trains that had already started the journey to continue. According to a new order issued by the railways, only goods trains will run from March 22 midnight to March 31 midnight.
“However, a bare minimum suburban services and the Kolkata Metro Rail service will continue till March 22 midnight. Thereafter, these services will also be stopped till March 31 midnight,” a spokesperson of the Indian Railways said. — PTI
This is actually a good move
All ignorants working in cities/towns were rushing to the railway stations to get to/be with their family members in remote villages (risking everyone there :/)
They also need to suspend Second Class tickets in other express/superfast trains if possible!

Eight held for playing cricket during ‘Janata curfew’
Eight men were arrested at Kalyan in the district on Sunday as they were found playing cricket during the ‘Janata curfew’ being observed to check the spread of coronavirus, police said.
They were playing cricket at Kala Talao Maidan in the afternoon, police said.
Police also detained a boy in this connection, an official said.
“Action was taken against them for defying the prohibitory orders issued by the Thane Police Commissionerate. They also went against the ‘Janata curfew’ being observed to curb the spread of coronavirus,” the police official said.
The Mahatma Phule Chowk Police Station registered an offence against the accused under Indian Penal Code sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 290 (public nuisance).
They were also booked under the Maharashtra Police Act as well as the National Disaster Act 2005, the official said. — PTI
