Wait for Company technician otherwise warranty claim mein dikkat aa sakti hai. BTW, there is no need of installation in Fridge. Plug and Use, but wait is better option.

Never heard regenerator require installation from authorised technician. I think you can unpack it yourself.
Long back, when plasma TVs were a thing, the brand denied help after someone we know had unpacked and started using the TV.. but later found some issue.
Thankfully senior technical employees who later came for a visit, confirmed to them that it was a known issue in certain models and plasma TV tech had peculiarities.
They (technicians) got it sorted within the company. Those were different times. The technicians were middle aged, respected within the hierarchy.. even by the managers from non technical departments.
(It was in South East Asia.)
Long story short, for any minor or major pre-existing issues, defects.. brand can always wash its hands off it by citing some real or absurd reasons.
Times are already tough. It does not hurt to be safe.. rather than sorry.
Wait for the installation guy, unless the brand itself says that there won't be any installation. If you unpack it yourself and the product is damaged, your claim won't be accepted since you opened it yourself when you were clearly not supposed to.
I've bought dozens of such products. If the brand or the e-commerce website says that there will be installation, then you're not supposed to open it yourself. I know it is hard to wait since an item arrives, but you have to do that. Another thing that you can do is call the brand helpline yourself and expedite the installation process.

Better wait for technician to unwrap it in case there is any transit damage. Dents/scratches are common with these appliances. You cannot claim replacement if you are opening it yourself.

Samsung rep came a few hours later and gave the demo. Didn't note any issues.

in case its dead on arrival or damaged product you will end up in trouble... as the installation guy gives a report after checking the product.. that makes it easier with replacements and returns..
