Can't login to ICICI Imobile pay App.

Nothing much you can do here.

Just turn off developer settings when visiting Application and then turn on when completed.
I have a second clock running on my screen. RBL app debarred me to access the app as it's developer option settings. [Btw Now resolved]

I had opened a ICICI Pockets account for my father years ago and had given some random DOB. Recently he opened a Savings account with ICICI but while trying to login to iMobile app it shows an error about the DOB mismatch. Is it possible to get the DOB corrected by contacting Pockets customer care?

These banks think that all users are dumb and that only enabling dev options or rooting your device will hack your device.   

I mean, OK, the majority of the users are tech illiterate but there should be an option or multiple-check boxes to confirm that yes, I'm an advanced user.   

BTW, they allow login on windows PCs, even the old XP PCs where the user is logged in as Admin without a password. But that is completely secure I guess! 

BTW, if you use Magisk, try Deny List + Zygisk

If anyone has a old Icici app or apk for this app prior to this new update, then upload it to Gdrive and Provide the link. It will save us from this shit for now.

There's a Magisk module to hide whether Developer Options/USB Debugging is enabled or not. I haven't tried it though. 

For rooted devices Magisk Delta is much more convenient thanks to the SULIST feature. Better than Magisk + Shamiko. 

For unrooted devices a shortcut to Developer Options can at least lessen the inconvenience a bit. The extremely light one by SingleByte works well. 

Tasker/Macrodroid can probably be used to automate the whole process even restoring the custom animation settings etc. 

ICICI should have targeted USB Debugging. 

I keep getting Sim card changed error. And while creating UPI, it's always form input error. What nonsense is this app

I don't want to disable Dev mode. I have so many functions enabled, wtf? How do I bypass this? Install this in Samsung secure folder? 

Unless one's device is rooted (Xposed/LSPosed module is required ) there's no option but to put up with this nuisance unless ICICI like HDFC rolls back this useless move. In the meanwhile I am gonna stick to other UPI apps for payment and use iMobile as little as possible.

I finally got around to testing the Xposed/LSPosed module and it works just fine. iMobile detects neither root nor the unlocked Developer Options. Should work for other apps like Payzapp etc. as well.

It's better not to use too many LSPosed modules though as  over the years the only bootloop which couldn't be rectified no matter what I tried, in my experience, was most probably due to one of them. 

Edit: NSDL app joined the party as well. The workaround holds good.

Update Guys : Finally they made it optional, now can login with developer settings turned on.

My medical conditions doesn't allow me to use phone with animations. Hence, i use usb debugging to turn them off. This app is NOT inclusive.

I am an aged person and am using USB-debugging to force RTL mode but this app doesn't let me use phone.

I am an elderly and have a medical condition because i which i have to use phone Only with dark mode. Usb-debugging allows me to force dark mode on all apps. However this app prevents me from using my whole phone or go through whole setup again. This app is not elderly friendly at all.

I have seen another app was taken down for not allowing accessibility. This is our best bet as i couldn't find any other way to hide it without rooting. Last i checked on another samsung phone, icici was detected root. Hiding adb is easy using lsposed and hide-debugging (similar) module.
