Planning to buy new car next month,can there be any new taxes on cars in upcoming budget? If yes can it be avoided by paying just the booking amount before the budget to the car dealer?

Don't know some friends are saying price of cars will go up on select category in budget.

Booking one with a small amount does not mean that the price is locked. The price (and tax) applicable at the time of billing & delivery is what you end up paying!
