Premium cards useful for specific users and specific requirement. Getting as upgrade is a guarantee way of getting approved

Also there is a note that the existing card will get deactivate after 45 days. So you will lost your existing card. Though axis neo chala vi jaye to koi farak nehi hai
It says existing card will be active post delivery. On details confirmation page
if you have 3 cards you are not eligible I guess. Atlas and Magus are not useful for average users.
There upgrades are only for high spenders and who can upgrade to Burgundy and get best out of cards like Magnus not for all. Also the charges are too high for a normal user.
Axis want to milk the non power users nothing more in such upgrades at-least FYF should have been better for most of us.

For new card its subject to approval. This one is pre approved
I also got these 2 premium cc pre-approved on new year , clicked, checked details, exitted the app, and now no upgrade available
