I bought 2 Years AMC for my Aquaguard Water Purifier and I made the Aquaguard authorized technician to replace all the filters in our Water purifier in June 2023 as One and Half year completed since my water purifier purchase and the water flow is reduced from the dispenser tap.However on December 11,my water purifier stopped dispensing water completely and so I kept a complaint.An Aquaguard authorized technician came and did some screwdriver beating on the external and internal filters of the water purifier.When the technician is about to leave,I told technician that the water is leaking from the front part of the purifier and the technician opened the purifier again and saw water leaking near 2 filters inside the purifier and he replaced some small connectors and left away.


After few hours on the same day(December 11),the water started leaking heavily from the back part of the purifier.Again I kept complaint on the same day and the technician came in the evening and concluded that the float switch of the purifier is not working properly and so he replaced the float switch.The technician told that the float switch does not come under AMC and so he will come in mid January to take 800 Rs for the replaced float switch as he cannot take money for any part since he himself came on same day morning and the company might feel it is his inefficiency.Still,the dispensed purified water gave odd smell and taste.The technician told that the new parts replaced by him might take some time to adjust and the water taste will be improved gradually.But,all my family members got FEVER from December 13.


We came to conclusion that we got fever due to bad water and so I complained for technician visit again on December 15 morning as the water taste did not improve by then also.I clearly asked the Auaguard call centre to send another technician and they agreed,but the same technician came again and we asked him to open the water purifier to see the condition of the water in the storage tank of the purifier once.But,we are very shocked to see so many visible impurities in the water tank.The technician made laughing remark after seeing the impure water.



We asked the technician why did not Aquaguard service centre send him or any other technician for maintenance on December 2 as we came to know from Eureka Forbes website on December 15 that a scheduled maintenance for our purifier is pending since December 2.We asked the technician to replace the water purifier completely as they did not perform maintenance as per the AMC Contract due to which our purifier is damaged completely and he is also unable to properly fix the purifier even after repeated visits.Then the technician became very angry and said that we cannot ask anything from him as we are not paying him any money.The inefficient technician told that he wants 590 Rs for his visit everytime even though he already knows that we already paid AMC for 2 years and even though a new part gets damaged everytime he visits due to his improper handling and improper fitting.Then the technician left our house without doing anything and without even pouring out the impure water from the water purifier tank and attached the purifier to the wall.The technician said that he won't do any service for us and also tells harshly to go question Aquaguard directly and left.The Area Service Manager of the Aquaguard also gave false promises that he will visit my house to see the visible impurities in the water in our water purifier tank.After sometime,I called Aquaguard and spoke with Level 2 person in Aquaguard call centre and made the Level 2 person in Aquaguard to connect a Conference call to the Boss of Area Service Manager and then only they send another technician to fix my water purifier.


I filed a Complaint against Aquaguard in National Consumer Helpline,but they simply stated to go to Consumer Forum since Aquaguard is not responding to them also.Also,the escalation email team in Aquaguard won't send any reply.I reported the incident to one Media person I know as they delayed to  send another technician also,but the Aquaguard is not even responding to the Media person and the Media person can not publish the incident  until Aquaguard responds.Since is is matter of Health of the people,I  involved media so that some awareness will be spread.The media person  suggested to approach Police,but my family wont allow me to go to that much extent.The other technician came atlast and told that my water purifier gave the output water same as the input water after checking with the TDS meter and opening the purifier.Also,he said that the input water somehow leaked into the storage tank of the water purifier.He cleared the impure water and also replaced some parts in the water purifier and immediately we started getting good tasting water with improved TDS.

MY FRIENDLY ADVICE FROM THE INCIDENT: I ADVICE ALL MY FELLOW DIMERS TO INITIATE A TECHNICIAN VISIT AND ASK HIM TO OPEN THE WATER PURIFIER UNIT ONCE AND SEE THE WATER CONDITION IN THE STORAGE TANK AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS IF REQUIRED.BE ALERT.STAY SAFE.

Yes. Aquasure is the name of the Water Purifier Model in Aquaguard.

I also had a bad experience with aquaguard. I bought 2yr AMC. They serviced and replaced filters in the start, and nevee ever visited again in the remaining 2 yrs. Even after 1 yr when filters were supposed to be changed, I got call from technician for appointment but he never visited. On complaining to aquaguard fpr the same, they kept replying using some standard rwply template and after following up for next 6-8 months I was told that they will provide the filter kit. It has been 3 yrs since then but they didnt gave the filter kit. So I had to purchase the AMC again to get the filters replaces.
