I bought 2 Years AMC for my Aquaguard Water Purifier and I made the Aquaguard authorized technician to replace all the filters in our Water purifier in June 2023 as One and Half year completed since my water purifier purchase and the water flow is reduced from the dispenser tap.However on December 11,my water purifier stopped dispensing water completely and so I kept a complaint.An Aquaguard authorized technician came and did some screwdriver beating on the external and internal filters of the water purifier.When the technician is about to leave,I told technician that the water is leaking from the front part of the purifier and the technician opened the purifier again and saw water leaking near 2 filters inside the purifier and he replaced some small connectors and left away.
After few hours on the same day(December 11),the water started leaking heavily from the back part of the purifier.Again I kept complaint on the same day and the technician came in the evening and concluded that the float switch of the purifier is not working properly and so he replaced the float switch.The technician told that the float switch does not come under AMC and so he will come in mid January to take 800 Rs for the replaced float switch as he cannot take money for any part since he himself came on same day morning and the company might feel it is his inefficiency.Still,the dispensed purified water gave odd smell and taste.The technician told that the new parts replaced by him might take some time to adjust and the water taste will be improved gradually.But,all my family members got FEVER from December 13.
We came to conclusion that we got fever due to bad water and so I complained for technician visit again on December 15 morning as the water taste did not improve by then also.I clearly asked the Auaguard call centre to send another technician and they agreed,but the same technician came again and we asked him to open the water purifier to see the condition of the water in the storage tank of the purifier once.But,we are very shocked to see so many visible impurities in the water tank.The technician made laughing remark after seeing the impure water.
We asked the technician why did not

on December 2 as we came to know from Eureka Forbes website on December
15 that a scheduled maintenance for our purifier is pending since December 2.We asked the technician to replace the water purifier completely
as they did not perform maintenance as per the AMC
Contract due to which our purifier is damaged completely and he is
also unable to properly fix the purifier even after repeated
visits.Then the technician became very angry and said that we
cannot ask anything from him as we are not paying him any money.The
inefficient technician told that he wants 590 Rs for his visit everytime even though
he already knows that we already paid AMC for 2 years and even though a
new part gets damaged everytime he visits due to his improper handling
and improper fitting.Then
the technician left our house without doing anything and without even pouring out the impure water
from the water purifier tank and attached the purifier to the wall.The technician said that he won't do any service for us and also tells harshly to go question Aquaguard directly and left.The Area Service Manager of the Aquaguard
also gave false promises that he will visit my house to see the visible
impurities in the water in our water purifier tank.After sometime,I called
Aquaguard and spoke with Level 2 person in Aquaguard call centre and
made the Level 2 person in Aquaguard to connect a Conference call to the Boss of Area Service Manager and then only they send another technician to fix my water purifier.
I filed a Complaint against Aquaguard in National Consumer Helpline,but they simply stated to go to Consumer Forum since Aquaguard is not responding to them also.Also,the escalation email team in Aquaguard won't send any reply.I reported the incident to one Media person I know as they delayed to send another technician also,but the Aquaguard is not even responding to the Media person and the Media person can not publish the incident until Aquaguard responds.Since is is matter of Health of the people,I involved media so that some awareness will be spread.The media person suggested to approach Police,but my family wont allow me to go to that much extent.The other technician came atlast and told that my water purifier gave the output water same as the input water after checking with the TDS meter and opening the purifier.Also,he said that the input water somehow leaked into the storage tank of the water purifier.He cleared the impure water and also replaced some parts in the water purifier and immediately we started getting good tasting water with improved TDS.

never take any amc service. Amc service as a whole is cheat service. Directly pay for the parts having the issue.
The same inefficient technician comes to fix the parts even if the money is directly paid instead of AMC.
The mistrust issue with Aqua guard model of door to door marketing always existed since the company's inception. Even though they were market leaders and monopoly at that time.
Too much reliance on service engineers and marketing personnel always brings in grassroot level incompetence, corruption and non-accountability. Company gives them incentive on selling spare parts, AMCs, new products without monitoring the satisfaction level of customers.
Problems are more serious in tier 2 cities. It's very important to purchase water purifiers only after verifying service quality feedback from existing customers in your locality.
Dunno what's wrong,haven't got any tag notification till yet.Doesn't Aquaguard send you satisfaction codes/OTPs during AMC visits ? Keep a tds meter at home. Take reading before and after filtration process to know it better.

My parents have been using aquaguard for 2 decades and even in present. The service man was good and efficient so when he left aquaguard for another job, my father kept his no and we still call him when we need servicing as the new service men of aquaguard are complete kamchor and ask for money illegally for not doing their job too.
Its the HR managers fault in many private companies (including mine) as they hire through internal references only and not through skills and dedication. And those who come from outside circle are bullied by the internal circles. NEPOTISM is not just in Bollywood (as online trolls scream), it's in every Indian job circles and nobody has a problem with the reality.
My folks got 'used to' the dayum 'Classic' model soooo much
that they took the (Aquaguard) Classic model even to other countries.. while staying there.
And now my 👩🏻🦳mother🙇🏻♂️ simply keeps using/misusing the senior citizen card.
She keeps handy the phone numbers of the dealers or shops that are of regular use.
Be it dry fruits wholesalers or waste paper/scrap merchants.
And for a while now.. instead of paying for the AMC.. she relies on playing the senior citizen card.
Tells the shopkeeper to send someone to fix/replace the consumables and only after vetting.
And then, now she has narrowed on a couple of patient electricians, plumbers, water purifier repairperson, HVAC unit servicing technicians.. that suffice.
Obviously the risk is the exorbitant rates quoted for replacement/ new PCBs.. should one need replacing.
But in over two and half decades of using (Aquaguard) Classic.. it is a calculated eisk.
Instead of an AMC.. finding a decent technician and treating him kindly, politely and not avoiding their genuine remuneration is all it takes to get genuine advice with timely, proper help.
Also.. the average water purifier or home use printer industry is SOOO standardised that even the aftermarket spares are just as good.
I myself often prefer "3M" filters and spares.. to those from the ones marketed by the water filtration system brands.
better buy cheap purifier and replace its filters yourself when its dead or replace whole, cost 4-5k max
approach local shop once this AMC over, they give good service and cheap vis a vis brands.
You can even do it yourself, nothing complicated, need little patience in removing all connectors and placing them in tightly back in slots. After 3-4 times you will be expert. Careful with adapter
and even mineral water is tasting not that much good for us.

It's same here...10 years back we bought one aquaguard..the service was good back then...the machine was the railway station model..was working fine for 10 years...later these amc guys kept on pushing for new machine and gradually damaged our old nice machine...once they broke the old we tried to quit aquaguard, but sadly here no other water purifier provides amc, couldn't trust the locals ..so again had to buy another Aquaguard ...new machine goes down frequently...
The amc guy once assured me that if I buy online they wont give service, I can raise ticket and they will just close it..they wont give any service..this is not like proper brands like LG, Samsung etc

RO filter is absolute waste of time,money,energy and water.For 1 liter of purified water it wastes around 3 liters (75%) of water.Moreover,it demineralizes water by removing essential minerals like calcium,potassium,magnesium etc which is not good for health.Few years back NGT directed the environment ministry to ban use of RO in areas where TDS is less than 500 ppm.
Interestingly they sell same water by adding back the minerals results in high TDS calling it mineral water. This water is sold at ₹60-150/l.

Unless you are using like 50-100 ltrs of drinking water every single day there is no need for getting AMC. The filters come for 2 years quite easily. Once you let these people service it, the life will be vastly deteriorated. Get a local chap instead to install the filters and buy original ones online to give it to him. Or just use boiled water like most people did 2 decades back.
This calculation is wrong.The Aquaguard filters in our purifier are rated for 6000 Litres only.The filters are lasting maximum of 1.5 years for our usage.Filter replacement without AMC costs 4000 to 5000 Rs along with 590 Rs for technician visit.We took AMC only when the purifier stopped dispensing the water completely in June 2023 and that is after 1.5 Years of buying the machine.What is the use of buying branded water purifier like Aquaguard when we need to get the third party technicians to do the maintenance?
I have pureit water purifier. I pay 2k for normal filter change after 1 years and 3.5 k for ro filter change after approx. 2 years. AMC may look cheap but it isnt. there is no need to service the water purifier if it is not showing filter change like mine shows gkk1 ,gkk2 change. The service person are also eager to replace the filters as service center is getting paid after they service my machine not before.
my machine is running fine for 5 years. so i think my strategy is working fine with no amc. I even shifted my machine from my old flat to new one in different part of the city meaning different technician.
amc charge for one year is 5.5k so i think its not economical, better to change the filters when they expire.
This why I threw out aquaguard & got the assembled one. Working fine for last 1 year. No headache of relaying on company for spare parts & water filter cartridges.
