Amex is rubbish.. Foolish. They wont consider address proofs of tier 2/3 cities. And also rent agreement of tier 1 cities. Americans are all same. They are racist

Their acceptance in tier 1 cities itself is pathetic why would they want to enter into lower tier cities?
Don't tell me online is accepted. No company wants to issue cards only for online presence else they would have introduced online only cards.

They have many Tier-2/3 Cities They are happily issuing Cards on that proof. Many of my friends got their cards approved at those addresses.
Card issuing and banking companies have a truckload of regulations to follow with stringent audits from RBI. Before they can issue cards to residents of Tier 2/3 towns they need to have some sort of established sales office in that city. A company's sole purpose is to make profit and if your Tier 2/3 town does not seem profitable enough to them they won't issue cards from there. They don't care about your race.

hmm OP HarveySpecter, you should think about practical viability of earning potential:) AMEX is a spender card (meaning they are not looking for credit needy people they are looking for people with HUGE CHUNK OF CASH PILE and tier 1 people has more probability of having it) .. so more probability of business for AMEX if one is a spender and tier 1 has more probability of higher lifestyle and spender possibilities....
Amex is not a charity to offer free cards to everyone lol its a high cost business they want to target:) their business logic
btw nothing related to race or americans here lol :) its pure practical business logic, you are assuming too much in agony of not getting AMEX card lol
