Earlier I used to order oil with multiple quantity of 1L packs in fresh. Since 2 weeks or so I'm noticing that same brand same oil pack can't be ordered more than one quantity in one order! Is it only for me or everyone? And moreover why this capping?

Amazon pantry was the real deal. This fresh is useless.
Have ordered regular use stuff like atta, ghee at 80-90% off back in 2018-19. Multiple cashback offers used to get combined

If it is not account specific, the QLA team [email protected] Quantity Limits analysis team or the system might want more customers to be able to to het the limited stock in some region/store.([email protected] Quantity Limits analysis team team captures multiple accounts. So even if one makes a new account today, to order something, if their systems detect that one purchased the same items earlier from different account/s, the QLA team/ robots may cancel or limit quantity).
For the orders despatched locally, there are some restrictions. The logistics teams, although ATSPL.. are totally different than the teams at the usual hub/warehouse where outstation parcels arrive.
Previously the Fresh order Delivery Agent got just one or two orders per trip, even though the payment was made on 'per trip' basis.
It might make economic sense for them to reduce the maximum weight per order or average weight per order and instead add more orders per trip (if the payment is to be made per trip).
Amazon Fresh treats 'More' stores as a separate company, or maybe 'More' stores have 'arm's length' dealing with Amazon India.. despite it being a sister company.
In the past, I was often told by the D.A. and even the store employees of 'More' stores too.. that once they bill the items and pack them for logistics to pick up.. stock returns are not taken.
Later they slightly relaxed the nose and packaged items that were resalable were allowed to be restocked.
Once in an order of multiple items to my aunt's place, she refused the tender coconuts due to poor quality and small size, besides appearing too stale.
The Delivery Associate's face fell and he tried convincing her to keep the complete order.
She was like, you can take it back and the store will take it back.
Back then, he (the delivery associate) informed that no aunty, perishables and no way to know if it is the exact same it which left the store.
We are required to hand it over to the damaging department people.
They have to 'destroy' the items, while in the view of the surveillance cameras.
This is done to avoid pilferage (stealing) by the staff.
So yes, if prices might make people overstock or refuse on delivery or if items are susceptible to in-teansit loss (damage).. then too.. based on trend analysis and now based on 'big-data', AI tools.. they might put such restrictions.. from time to time or depending on factors like pincode, warehouse inventory, overall demand and so on.
I am not justifying Amazon.
I could not care less if today itself they COMPLETELY shut down, all over the world.
