The school must have taken Lead Pinnacle+ membership so students have to buy books recommended by Lead. I work at Lead.

My nephew LKG books costed ₹7k.

its more about child happiness and feeling of not letting left out . so either change school or do what school says , anything else u may suceed but child may get hurt in school by friends and teacher .childhood traumatic memory is bad very bad

CBSE board govt  kendriya vidyala are good see if that is there an option to change onto; sainik school also good as they are run by defence ministry

though anonymously complain to education ministry of state /center/cbse/women and child development for this malpractice but dont expect quick resolution anytime soon

-he /she may have good marks teacher , and good friend in this school and hapy memory.. make sure of this

Just like Doctors and Pharmacy do with brand specific prescriptions rather than generic ones.

These have been running for ages and no one has the option to go elsewhere.

I bought play group books in 4200 rupees which includes bag also.... 😂😂 Just bought it without thinking twice, bcoz I know that it is not available outside and also they keep record that your child must buy from school.

All are involved in this commission game, School, Education Department Bureaucrats and minister, and finally the govt is giving shelter to all of them.

Education nowadays is the biggest scam in India and govt. won't do anything about it.

For the books, borrow them from previous year students or look for a second hand online.

Same thing is done by one  Baptist school in Chandigarh. They change books every year and more shameful is that they even change school dress every year

One should not blame the school if he chose that one. There must be reasonable price schools as well but you chose fancy one.

Most Indians don't vote keeping education, health and environment as priority. We allow government to tax us 12-18% on education.

Why will government improve the system if no one will vote for it?

Nowadays many schools are charging in lakhs. That's the price you pay for voting uneducated politicians.

I think only Delhi has a better education system but party got 0 seats. Why will running govt work on something which doesn't give a pennyworth of payback?

My child is also in third class, and these days, there is no moral accountability in these private institutions. Each year, they increase the fees by 15% and sell in-house books from different publishers with additional stationery.  You must have to buy the full set from the school all at once. Every year, the chapters in the print edition of the book reorganized so that the previous year's edition books cannot be usable. The Delhi government fabricates stories about their world-class educational system for Delhi schools, but private schools in Capital City actually operate like this since the beginning.

In Delhi govt school provide free books and school uniform.

My maid got 2 kids and school offered all books for free. I was surprised to see the books were new.

This is the reason of increasing illiteracy rate in india. And also increase in child labour 

Better to Send kids too any school having good discipline and need spend 1 hr 2  hrs with them everyday seems better.

I remember during covid time schools were charging the same for online classes, parents were very angry took strong objection that shaked .....

Public main issue is hindu muslim and vote fr uneducated...end of story. Govt khush n school waale bhi khush... I spent 4k, 5k and 6k on books itself.. my cousin paid 10k fr book in some madina school...india is corrupt
