and when i refreshed the app, it now showed 100 for Zomato Pro Plus for 3 months. earlier was showing 300 for 3 months.

zomato is scared if many register for pro plus they will see high surge in order. everything is soo expensive on zomato what I can buy on swiggy for 150 zomato is 200+₹.
i had pro membership in 2018-2019 2 years deal but since pandemic it’s useless. back then pro was for dineout only don’t know if pro is worth a single rupee today. swiggy broke the back of zomato and I’m sure it will never repair. what zomato is doing today is copying swiggy and that too very badly eventually the shareholders will pay for it. i have uninstalled this app in 2020 and never looked back because whatever they will offer will be less than the rivals and unoriginal.
Exactly my observation. Swiggy doesn’t have dining discounts on memberships which Zomato has and no free delivery for all restro are main limitations but Zomato is expert in fooling customers.
People are buying Zomato pro plus and going ga ga over saving 50 bucks of shipping but secret is, conditions are in the hands of Zomato. And for discounts they have different minimum billibg requirements for different restro.
Also prices on Zomato pro are way higher than swiggy (without even membership). So one will think, wow i am gonna save 50 bucks of delivery charges but in reality they would end up spending more on order prices for same items.
So my advice, don’t jump in blindly.
Keep your eyes open.
Zomato wants exactly what people are doing. They want to book customer with subscription service so from next time person will order from zomato only blindly without bothering to check prices (what happened to me).
Imo zomato pro or pro plus is pure jhumla offer.

Also swiggy has changed terms. In old days when I had swiggy super, delivery was free for all restros.
I have already mentioned couple of these limitions which include dining discounts also.
2 days back, it was showing 200 for 181 days left. And I thought to skip it. But, Yesterday, it was showing 100 for 180 days left. I had to place an order as well. So, I bought it along with the order and to my surprise, the whole order (food+pro plus 100) went thru Sodexo.
Win win situation.
If you are near around 180 days, better to wait.

I used the validity extension code for pro and validity got extended for more than 2.5 years . I was getting the pro plus invite before I extended the subscription but now the plus option banner has disappeared and can’t find any option to subscribe it.Need some help pls

Yeah don’t extend for more that 2 years..they will remove your plus invite
I ordered daily for last 4 days in Zomato and am an existing Zomato Pro member. After I paid for my order today on 16/01, I got a notification on Zomato app for upgrading my membership to Zomato Pro Plus for 12 month by paying Rs.300 and I will get back my delivery charges. I paid Rs.300 instantly and got Rs.29 credit in Zomato credits (refund for delivery charges I paid for this order). Note: I received my RBL Bank Zomato Edition Classic Lifetime Free credit card delivered and activated last week. This card gives Zomato Pro membership for free until the card’s validity.

How do we get the option to upgrade to pro plus?
I’m holding zomato classic edition cc from last month but didn’t place order from last 4-5 months considering their exorbitant prices on shipping and taxes.
2 weeks back when I had 375+ days left in pro membership, I got popup for upgrading to pro plus for 500 rs
I had an extension code for 1 year. So thought first let me extend and then buy pro plus. But once I extended the membership, the offer was gone. Today again when I have about 725+ days it shows 700 rs to be paid for pro plus.
Less than a re per day.
Average let’s says 30 rs per delivery charge, will recover money in 23 orders which is easily doable in 725 days.
Unless anyone has any knowledge that price is going to further crash or free upgrades might come in. Please suggest

Finally bought membership for 300 for an year. Already holding zomato classic edition card, so was a pro member by default. Placed some ordered yesterday with free delivery offer (account specific) and received invitation today for upgrade to pro plus.
