Already have CITI card as LTF yet this seems lucrative 
Couple of points I observed for this card:
1. On the application page, it says Rs 1000 cashback will be given on spends of Rs 6000 and not Rs 5000
2. PayTM First membership is absolutely rubbish. There is hardly any noteworthy benefit that is truly worth its value. Firstcry, Tatacliq extra 10% off and others will all be coupon-based and for sure you will not be able to combine it with other offers. So these coupons will hardly be used. In FirstCry the 35% off coupons will be used more than the 10% one that PayTM will give. Even if you find anything in PayTM First membership as useful, the membership is given free only for the first year.
3. In the past 3 years, I have only purchased once from PayTM Mall. I haven’t seen any good products or discounts in there. All the offers are cashback ones. You have to pay the full price to buy the product and then the cashback forces you to buy again to spend the cashback received.
4. It’s not mentioned if the 3% cashback on PayTM App spends covers recharge and bill payments too and if the cashback is unlimited or a max amount.
5. When the card was launched last year, the annual fee waiver was Rs 50,000 and now it’s increased to Rs 1 Lakh!
I think Paytm did a grave mistake in making credit cards. Both their Citi and SBI cards are nothing but useless. Never expected this from Paytm. If anyone need direct Citi card (which is better than Paytm card) referral, let me know.
